Benteke isn't worth the kind of money Liverpool paid for him if Rodgers isn't going to play to his strengths. He'll just be a more mobile version of Balotelli. I haven't been impressed by Depay at all from what I've seen of him in the league, though he's young and obviously raw and has the potential to turn into a very good player.

I reckon Schweinsteiger, and I say that as a big fan of his.

He posted this thread a while back with Benteke as his 'flop'. Now he has Firmino in there as well. Everything he posts is anti-Liverpool.

He's trolling.

He might not be a million miles away in regards to Benteke though if Liverpool don't use him to his strengths. He's done alright so far but you want him attacking the ball in the opponents box, something he hasn't been able to do anything like enough these first few games. I still think Milner would be better out wide than in the middle whether he likes it or not. For me it should be Lucas and Henderson in the middle, Milner and Firmino providing the width and Coutinho playing off Benteke, at least until Sturridge is back. Emre Can has potential but at the moment that's all it is, and he was hyped too much by some on the back of a few assured performances last season.

If they really do sign him for £36 million then surely Martial- whether he's decent or bad is irrelevant, that's a crazy amount of money to pay! Benteke may or may not work out, and as for Firminiho I reckon he'll probably emulate what Coutiniho has done. Falcao at Chelsea won't be any good this season either, but he's on loan so Chelsea don't actually lose much if he performs badly.

Hope he ends up back in League One afterwards too. Fucking snake.

Ayew is looking like a bag of utter shite so far. Great replacement for Benteke he is looking.

You signed the wrong Ayew. His brother is looking a real gem for Swansea early on, and he cost them 8.5 million less.

He's played all but one of our games. Willing to give him time by all means, however I've just stated that he is looking an early forerunner for the award. Seriously hope I'm proved wrong though.

He made contribtions at least. So far he's made us looke like we're playing with 10 men. Really hope he turns it around though.
