Why Do People With Stuff To Hide Agree to Lie Detectors & Jeremy Kyle Appearances?

First and foremost, I really can't stand this show. Kyle is a clown and doesn't give a shit about helping people through their differences. But lets shelve that for a second.

I was channel flicking and stopped on lie detector results , of which the lad failed. I just don't get it. If you've got something to hide A) why would you go on the show anyway (in fact, why go on even if you don't?! awful) and B) Agreeing to a fackin' lie detector and saying they will pass right up until the results?!

I know the IQ of the guests on this show is desperately low, classic scum of the earth characters but I honestly can't comprehend why so many idiots think they can beat it. It's just ludicrous that they'd agree to put themselves in a situation that clearly won't end well for them.

Not all, but I think a fair amount of them are staged, there have been numerous stories over the years as well as certain people who looked too 'clean cut' so to say being given worse looking cloths to wear etc.

Other than being put up in a hotel I cannot for the life of me understand why anyone would want to be seen on that programme, guest or audience. I suppose some people that are desperate for DNA results and can't afford to pay themselves, but it's a huge price to pay.

I had some friends who went on Trisha on channel 5 about 10 years ago to try and sort their daughter out, they described it as the worst thing they've ever done but i did warn them not to do it. The host didn't want to hear their complaints but just sucked up to the daughter who was a right little bitch,drinking,shagging,taking drugs and running away from taxi drivers without paying. When the show was shown the whole street was laughing at them which surely is a good advert to not do these tacky and tasteless shows.

My neices mate went on to get DNA to prove paternity as her childs dad wouldn't have it that he was the dad. They get put up in hotel for the night but she didn't get paid. Think they chuck in a meal at the hotel as well. She got what she wanted which was this jumped up little twat to pay for his daughter. God he was a real oxygen thief that one, the girl is a nice girl, has grown up a lot since becoming a mum, don't think she has hide away but doesn't voice about her TV appearance either. The bloke is one that you would love to knock out but would need a bloody good wash afterwards.

As someone who has met him (and no not on the show) and have mates who have met him he is just as much of a twat in person as he is on this.
