Support Rovers because my dad does, my first game was against QPR in the FA Cup in 2006, we won 3-0.

Same as above, my old dad was / is a City fan. When he arrived in Bristol in the 60's with his oldest brother, they turned left coming out of the railway station. If they had turned right, I could well have been a gashead.
First game was v York City in 1975, a 4-1 win. First night match was v Pompey when we were promoted to the top flight and my first away game was v the mighty Arsenal in the big league and we won 1-0.

I support Sheffield Wednesday and have done since the mid 80s, first game I attended was v West Ham in 86, not that I recall it but first one I remember was beating QPR 7-1 in 87.

Family full of Wednesday but a Blade supporting mother.

I support Derby, because my dad forced it upon me.

My first two games were at the Old Wembley for the 1993 Anglo Italian Cup Final, and the 1994 Playoff Final. Lost both, didn't care....at all.

1995 was my first game at the Baseball Ground, a 1-1 draw with Grimsby and that's when somehow I became hooked. A couple of games later, my dad got seasons tickets for us both and my cousin. That season was the season we went up as runners up, not bad for your first season watching football!

My Dad is a massive City fan - and it was just how I was brought up.

First game was a night game against Rushen and Diamonds in the league - 1-0 win I believe, and I've been hooked ever since.

Not a massive football family, apart from me and my Dad. My Mum despises football, my Brother would rather sit and play on his Xbox, and apart from my Uncle who is a Swindon fan (eugh) no-one else is that interested in football, although my Grandad has been to a few City games in his time, but wouldn't call himself a 'diehard.'

I'll always thank my Dad that I was brought up supporting my local team, rather than watching some plastic shite on the telebox every week and claiming to be a 'fan' - that's not what football's about for me.

Derby around me, so of course I would support Derby.

First game was some game in our 06/07 promotion season, no idea what it was. First game I remember was Derby 2-2 Portsmouth in 'that' season

My Dad is a Watford fan and considering it takes about 5 minuites to get from my seat at Vicarage Road to the maternity block at Watford General where I was born it would be difficult to support anyone else.
That and it was made impossible when my first game was at home to chesterfield in 1997, when I was about four months old.

Dad was a City fan, used to go the game with him and all his mates. I could have been a Rovers fan, wasn't forced into choosing City or anything like that and I've grown up in what would be deemed as Rovers territory (more City fans than Rovers in my year at school, mind you).

Sadly, I cannot recall my first ever match - it would have been one sometime around 2000. Just looking at the fixture list, I think I remember the 4-0 win against Reading in October 2000, because they were near the top of the league at the time - but it might have been a similar result a season or two after. I'd have gone to games before that, but that's a match that sticks out in my memory.

Started going with a mate and his family as kids, first game was Derby 3 Newcastle 4 in 98/99. Hooked from there really, my Dads Forest which makes it weirder. Family are mainly Mansfield/Sheff Wed so I've done well to make it through as a Ram.

Family reasons- been life long fans.

1st game was a 0-0 draw with Tranmere aged 6 on NYD 1992.

Much more exciting was my next game which was a 5-2 victory against 8 man Bristol City!

I try not to remember that 4-0 defeat.Yeah we were near the top at the time.We had scored 14 goals in 3 out of 4 games before that stuffing you gave us.You beat us at the Mad Stad that season as well.

We got turned over 4-0 in the Ldv vans trophy by City a season or 2 before that. The same year the Gas smashed us 6-0.

Followed my old man. He made sure from an early age that there was only going to be one team in my life. Sometimes I curse him for it, but seasons like this one make me thankful! Went to my first game in 1990 vs Mansfield.

Same as most, brainwashed from birth by my Dad. First game was away at Notts C around 2000. We lost 2-1 and when they got the winner little old me was confused by all the shouting going on in the other stands and started celebrating, which led to a few odd looks while my Dad hurriedly explained the error of my ways!

Quickly learned red is best though! Don't remember my first home game, my earliest memory is of a 4-0 defeat of Cambridge but as I've not been able to find a record of it I'm not sure if I've invented it or not!

Briefly defected to a glory Chelsea supporter in my primary school days before my Dad pulled off the masterstroke of bringing me along to the Rotherham promotion party in 07. Instantly won back my allegiance, got a season ticket for the first season in the Championship and have done ever since

*Actually my first ever game was Wycombe 2-0 Peterborough, randomly. Think it was local at the time or something. Interesting fact: that game featured the record for the fastest consecutive goals in English football. 8 seconds between Wycombe's 1st and 2nd. Missed both of them on the toilet.

That game was the 28th August 1999. I was there and it was 2 days before I got married on the bank holiday Monday.

Dad gave me a choice, support Derby or leave home. I was five. Derby ever since.

My Dad. Although to be fair to him he never forced it onto me, I asked him to take me along one day and that was it so I can't completely blame him for the 20 years of misery, but I do.

First game was Luton at home in 95, we won 1-0 through a David Whyte goal and Steve Brown was sent off for us. My next two games were a 3-0 and 3-1 defeat, there was my warning to escape! :hb:

A single unitary authority for urban Dorset
Bournemouth v Shrewsbury 1995, 3-0 win, I was 7.
It's in my family, local club where I grew up etc. Mostly through my Dad like most. He started going around the early-mid 70s, I still sit/stand next to him every home game now, the moaning old git!

I support Wolves out of pity, mainly.
First game I remember was against Barnsley, September 82. We won 2-0 or 2-1, and got to about half the home games each year as a penniless student. I think I saw them win again later in the 80s. Or perhaps the mid 90s.

Until around 1988, I thought I supported a team called Wolvesnil.

Its in my blood, Dad became a City fan in the Cooper/Joe Jordan days so started taking me when I was a kid. First game I clearly remember was City 4-0 Reading October 2000, Dani Rodrigues broke his leg.
First home game in 01/02 we beat Swindon 3-1, from then on City was fully ingrained into me, was addicted since.

I support Wednesday because my granddad has supported them since the 1950's and took me along to my first match in the early 2000's. Had a season ticket for as long as I can remember and I doubt that'll ever change.

Bristol City fan ovcourse, I mean, who else is there to support in Bristol?

My first game I genuinely can't remember but it was the old man who took me to the Gate and I loved just seeing the big green pitch and the smell of Clarks pies and Cider. Can't beat the Ashton Gate smell!

Mum and dad were season ticket holders and met through the Cobblers, both grandads went, basically didn't have any choice. Apparently I wanted a United shirt as a young lad and was given a Cobblers one instead.
