its a funny old game mate, in times of slump some services do exceptionally well, some suffer, its quite something to see

Liverpool's form has picked up but they have been playing some godawful teams. Two League Cup games are coming up, an FA Cup tie and the Europa League as well, which will really challenge their momentum. They've also got to play away to Everton, Arsenal, Southampton and Chelsea, and host City and United.

United have hard league fixtures too, but they've only got the FA Cup to deal with. They've also got a stronger squad and a far more experienced manager. IMO the odds are stacked against Liverpool, I'd be really surprised if they clawed it back.
