Wisbech v Pontefract

I went to this game today. Everything that is bad about football was in this game today, fouling, abuse, time wasting, feigning injury, etc. At full time a Pontefract player turned to the crowd and let rip abuse, and at least three scuffles broke out. Pontefract ended the game with nine men, to them it was like winning a war.

There was a time in English football when this sort of thing was not only frowned upon, but attracted widespread condemnation. Winning with dignity has gone, so has any semblance of fair play. Personally i would have been ashamed to pull any of the tricks Pontefract pulled today. The second half was like England v Argentina in 1966. So very sad.

I have no idea what your talking about George. Ive seen a number of home games this season, and there have been no racist comments at all. I go when Cambridge are away. I assume because you have pointed a finger that Bristol Rovers are squeaky clean in terms of racism.

No Rovers are not squeaky clean at all ---- But still remember that cup match we played at Wisbech when a bunch of bananas were thrown at Barry Hayles and also the vile chanting at the match.
