Draw.
At least they get to see a proper fucking stadium that's bigger than a Merc E class estate boot.

Been around a fair few years now, seen enough of those, and quite fond of Little stadiums anyway.

Reckon draw is spot on, depends on who scores first.

To be fair this fixture looks a lot more difficult that it did a month or so ago. If they didn't have the crap run at the start they would probably be fighting for 2nd place with Bristol City, Derby and Cardiff. Being at home and on current form I'd like to think we will win here, but this league is full of surprises and Brentford are in great form themselves. I would maybe rest Jota for Costa, he really needs a break.

Ruddy
Bennett - Coady - Boly
Doherty ------------------- Douglas
Neves - Saiss
Cav - Bonatini - Costa
Wolves 2-1 Brentford (Bonatini, Neves, Vibe)

Annoys me every time I think of our terrible start, especially as we were playing really well, just not getting that little bit of luck needed.

For our team, I think we’ll keep it the same, but we might see Watkins come in for Canos just because he looks dead on his feet at the moment (though still in great form).

Bentley
Yennaris Mepham Bjelland Barbet
Woods McEachran
Jozefzoon Sawyers Canos/Watkins
Vibe

Potential banana skin for wolves. If Brentford turn up, it could be a cracking game. 2.2

I hope Nuno rests players for this. Neves, Saiss, Bonatini and Coady have looked tired the last few games. Maybe time to give Hause a (shop window) runout alongside Miranda at the back, N'Diaye and Price in the middle and Enobakhare up front.

After tonight most of our players will be rested until a week on Saturday hopefully (Barnsley away). Should rotate everyone for the Swansea match. I think the cup game is where shop window players like Hause and Price will be used.

I don't think he will make drastic changes tonight, maybe N'Diaye or Costa could come in with Saiss or Jota having a break. Bennett also expected to be picked to replace Batth.

Exactly!
I wouldn't risk resting anyone tonight. Get the three points in the bag, then rest them until your next league game. It's a shame the fa cup will have so many weakened teams, but it's become meaningless now.

The cup was great for us last season, a nice distraction to how crap our league form was. In this situation though we surely have to prioritise the league, although our 2nd team have already done very well in the carabou cup. Swansea are that bad at the minute I think even our reserves would be able to get something.

Swansea will probably field a weakened team anyway, so you might be alright.

Not able to go tonight anymore - gutted. Fingers crossed we get something to keep the momentum up, a win would take us within 3 points of the play offs which would be great - but is probably asking too much!

Don't think Marcondes will get International Clearance in time for tonight, but wouldn't want to play him yet anyway till he's had more time in training with the lads.

Wolves have not been great in their last two home games, so you have a chance, providing you turn up.

Nah. Rest some of the team. Plenty of strength on the bench. I disagree with resting for the FA Cup. We can rest again for the Barnsley match.

Another superb win by the looks of it. Pains me to say it, but wolves are a class above the rest. It will be interesting to see how they do in the prem next season, and how much ambition they show in challenging the top half.

Fucking brilliant again, an absolute class above.

Looks like we're beating Real Madrid to the signing of some striker from Valencia too... This just isn't what Wolves do... incredible.

Different class. While we hold our own in this league, got no chance against a team that good with that much quality.

Thought you had, because it's such a silly comment.
No, it's not silly. It's a different view from yours. That doesn't make it silly.

We changed 9 or 10 players from our normal squad and beat an almost full strength (one change) Southampton team in the League Cup.

In the end we beat Brentford 3-0 and it could have been a lot more. We have a strong squad in depth and have the ability to mix it up. Doing so would also help in the event that first-choice players get injured during the season.

Disappointed you didn't show up more for the game. I think you fell for the "Wolves are great...oh we're afraid, let's not be adventurous" line, the way Leeds and Burton did. Millwall, Sunderland and smaller clubs like Bristol City just came flying at us and got something.

Yeah I was a little too, but tbf you guys defended really well, and just had that extra bit of quality in all areas of the pitch.

We'll bounce back, but I was expecting more from us.
