The footballing world will be treated to a masterclass of talent on Boxing Day. The mighty Wolves play host to world class Bristol City.

Ugh.. on a serious note, this will be shit... really shit. Wolves have lost their last 5 home games, Bristol City haven't won at Molineux in about 35835 years. Looks like it's going to be an exciting game of 0-0.

Team I'd go for:

Ikeme

Coady
Batth
Big Bad Richard Stearman
Err... Doherty I guess?

DANGEROUS DAVE
Jack Price

Diego... err I mean Helda Costa
Cavaliero
Bright Enobakhare

Jon Dadi Bodvarsson

Any Brizzle fans making the trip up for this blockbuster of a game?

I've got my ticket but still deciding whether to sack it off or not, going to be an absolute shitfest an no trains running.

Our team to take the annual L at Molineux:

O'Donnell
Matthews, Flint, Moore, Magnusson;
Pack,
O'Neil, Reid,
Paterson, Tomlin;
Abraham.
Please, play that team and we might get a 0-0. If not it'll be 4-0 Wolves. Kevin Doyle hat-trick.

No Golbourne? :(
He's shit mate. Alright at defending, offers nothing going forward, is weak, poor in the air and not particularly quick. Can see why you let him go.

Agree, yet would start him over Bryan ( I realise you haven't put him in your line up) Fuck knows what's happened to him in the last 12 months. .....I question anyone sanity for going to this. This is a nailed on loss. See we've sold over 1100 as of two days ago. Cracking effort that. I hate Christmas, and a unsociable bastard yet didn't even cross my mind to go to this rather than visit family. The Rugby is more appealing.......

Yeah, got my tickets a few weeks back but after the last two games I can't be arsed. Been to Molineux and seen us lose there a few times, don't fancy watching it again.

Two home games now against these and QPR, anything less than six points would be a disappointment.

Why is Callum O'Dowda never playing for Bristol these days? He injured?

Huge game for both clubs this, could it be Johnson's last, though? Bristol to be 4 points above the drop zone come 2017.

I'd like to see him given more of a go, hasn'tt really hit the ground running yet and Johnson doesn't seem to fancy him, he looked pretty bright at the start of the season.

As for the game, we will lose as we never win at wolves. Which is a shame as we could really do with a win!

Can't see that happening TB, he's just been given an extended contract, for some reason, and we keep hearing 'long term plan' etc. He will be backed in January and is here for a long time IMHO.
The other thing is our owner is loyal to Managers and seems to love the Johnsons, we've had enough of them in various roles over the years.

Dunno, he was great against you on the opening day. The only winger at the club.

That's not going to cheer you up.
I know mate but it's last chance saloon for Bris. They need all the support they can get on boxing day and we NEVER win at the Mol.
Over 20K expected for the egg chasing by all accounts.
Win, however unlikely, and they have a real chance of survival.
That and I won't have to get up too early on Boxing day. ;)

I reiterate we have lost the last 5 home games in a row. This game can really go either way but I can't see past a 0-0 draw in all honesty. Wouldn't surprise me if Brizzle were favourites.

You would have to be shockingly shite for that to be the case Mark. We've won 1 in 7 (I think) ourselves and have no confidence at all.
This is gonna be such a shitfest!

And thats the kiss of fooking death right there. Nailed on home win, always is when we play teams with that kind of record. Its as predictable as a smell after a fart. Wonderful.

Ill be on one of my rare visits to the UK, but im not going to Wolves or Ipswich as the bank says no.

We drew to Fulham in our last home game. We really ought to be targetting 6 points from Bristol and QPR despite the poor home form. It has to turn sometime

Not sure why I said loss, I meant winless.

Oh joy, another team we never beat, no matter how shit they are.

1-0 Wolves, last minute deflection or something.

Ive realised our most effective player is 38 years old ffs. Top dog Wilbraham.

They were all against decent teams though.....

I also expect both teams to score, 2 or 3-1 win.

Fulham are bang average, especially away from home.

When we played them they had the 3rd best away record in the league, they looked decent.

Their away record is actually pretty decent, underestimated them. Not a bad point then, our away record is appalling so you should have more joy against us.
