RefWatch; The pitter-patter of tiny feet will be heard on the hallowed turf of Kingsmeadow on Saturday, and not just from the adorable mascots, but because the ref, Chris Sarginson, 3ft, from Staffs, is a fucking midget. He's so teeny-tiny that Greg Dyke has insisted that players have their names printed on the back of their shorts when he's reffing, and also a high chair & Paw Patrol DVD must be provided for half time before his nap. Born and raised (well, born) in Staffordshire, he works as a garden gnome for rich Midlanders during the week, before putting on his baby refs uniform at the weekends.

FL ref for 6 years & hates Wombles; reffed us 4 times & we've lost 3 & drawn 1; 1-0 home loss to Gills in '12 (1Y); 4-0 away thumping by Accies in '13 (1Y); 3-1 home loss to Carlisle in Jan 14 & the 2-2 home draw with Cobblers last April (5Y). Reffed Hatters twice, both were home games in the first round of FA Cup; both 4-2 wins & both in November; in '10 v Corby Town (1R) & '14 v Newport. Hates the scum. Sent off Lewington last season v Spireites & they conceded a last minute winner. We should build a (teeny) statue of him just for that. Hates them. Home win % is 50%. In 21 games he has given 65 Y & 1 R - tiny (just like him).

AnagramWatch; Christopher Sarginson = Shit Porn Groin Chaser
Luton Town FC = Fun Clown Tot. Fowl Not, c***.

I'm not at all confident about this one - we're cack at home.

Oh, and please don't drive to the match. Quite a few cars got stuck in the mud in the overflow car park last night. If the rain starts up again (and if I have my way) the overflow won't be open.

EDIT - the club has announced that the car park will be open but that you park at your own risk.

Luton seem to be better playing away, our home results have been poor (we should lose), but I predict a 2-1 win for the Dons!

I thought we would sell out for this game quite easily, but we'd only sold 800 as of this afternoon. Surprised at that considering its London and a Saturday.

Looking forward to this one - its my first trip to Kingsmeadow, as I'd been too slow off the mark in previous years to get tickets, or travelling!

Think we'll put in a good spirited performance tomorrow again - not expecting many changes.

Hmmm, bet you thought Exeter had the worst away terrace in the league. The good news is if Luton lose you won't see much of it :bg:

Should be a good game, most likely a few goals and a point each.

Surprised the Metropolitan Police have allowed both to take place at 3pm tomorrow!

Well, its Vauxhall and Victoria after Kings Cross St Pancras for us too. The Met have moved games for less in the past.
Anyway, looking forward to this afternoon. Amazed there are some tickets available on the turnstile.

I'd arrive early if I were you, get your ticket then go off for a drink somewhere.
We had a lot of away fans locked out at a recent game.

No idea whats going to happen today. Our away record is much better than our home so perhaps we'll come away with something. However I've been spectacularly wrong with every prediction this season.

Complete lack of character in this squad is embarrassing. Ship them all out in the summer and start again.

Thought 1-1 before looking at result, more than happy with that.
As a side note spent last week in New Plymouth, what a shit hole, is the Plymouth UK the same?

Over the moon to have got that spectacularly wrong. Didn't expect Luton to roll over so easily and have their bellies tickled

Also at least the Wombles are a proper club, and they always beat us anyway. Scraping the barrel for positives?

Yesterday was simply not good enough - it was pathetic at times.

I thought we'd turned a corner last week; think it proves our inconsistency this season. They can't seem to put 2 good performances in a row together.

If there was ever proof with the mess that John Still left us in and the job Nathan Jones has on his hands. But yesterday he was naïve too with his team selection and tactics.

When I saw the team I thought we might be in a bit of trouble. I am no fan of Smiths and would like to see him replaced next season with someone technically better but for the time being at least he does the dirty work in midfield. Yesterday we had 3 in there who that just isn't there game. There needs to be a balance and I hope Jones learnt that yesterday.

We got away with it a bit to start off with and were OK, but as soon as we conceded you know we are in trouble. The team has no backbone at all, it's almost like after we concede we just give up. It's pathetic.

After that it was like the first 30 at Wycombe, except that Wimbledon weren't wasteful and took there chances. We played well at Wycombe after that spell but it felt like all the luck we got in that first half there, was balanced out here.

I've always had doubts about Justham but that confirmed that he isn't a football league goalkeeper, I've seen more than enough now, either get a loan to tide us over for the rest of the season or bury the hatchet with Tyler, not fussed either way.

Clear out of Stills shite needed, Cuthbert at the head of the line for me. Why is he captain?

Trouble is I think we are lumbered with a lot of these pricks because Still was handing out 2 and 3 year deals like sweets.

Stephen O'Donnell, we signed him from Partick Thistle in the summer. He has actually improved a bit since some of his performances earlier in the season!

Agreed on Justham, not good enough (although I didn't go yesterday to confirm that suspicion). I don't really see any point in playing Tyler now though. This season is a write off, has been for ages, and it's basically a given at this point that Tyler will sign for Peterborough at the end of the season. Give Justham these pre-pre-season friendlies, if he doesn't improve then we know the first area that needs looking at in the summer.

Clear out of Stills shite needed, Cuthbert at the head of the line for me. Why is he captain?

I guess Jones didn't have much choice. We have no other outstanding candidates for the role, so stripping him of it would just have destroyed his already non-existent confidence for no real gain. Agreed that Cuthbert has been desperately poor pretty much all season bar one or two games though. How did he get such good reviews in a league higher? I don't get it.

Trouble is I think we are lumbered with a lot of these pricks because Still was handing out 2 and 3 year deals like sweets.

Yup. Major overhaul needed but may not actually be possible this summer unfortunately.

Surprise how poor Luton played, lots of sideways passing across the back and very little threat up front. Thought we played within ourselves and still banged in four!
Maybe now we can push ourselves into a play off position.

Sweeney did well yesterday felt he improved as the game went on. Noticed Bulman had a word in the first half, seem to tell him to be more physical/stronger in his challenges.
