Excellent game that, Uruguay started at sixes and sevens letting Brazil run through them like a hot knife through butter, but as the game went on they got more and more into it getting one back through Cavani then Suarez equalising in the second half. And in the last ten minutes they had chances aplenty to grab the win as David Luiz and Miranda were getting run ragged from Suarez who maybe should've scored on the volley producing a fine save by Allison (!).
The first half of Brazil vs Uruguay was very good to watch. Brazil did well and our middlefield and attack looked very high minded but our defence sucks too much. Honestly, to keep this victory we only had to block Cavani and Suárez but the bad positioning of our defensors leaving both alone (this couldn't happen, how do you play against Uruguay and just let exactly Suárez and Cavani free?) on dangerous plays caused the tie and almost directed to Uruguay's victory since on the second half they returned more closed and Brazil got wiped out.
Now for the next match we lost Neymar but at least we got rid of David Luiz.
David Luiz is the type of player people want to like but when he puts in performances like that you end up wondering why he gets to play in good sides.
Another slip from Brazil yesterday. All I could see - not the first time - is the scheme of the team is way more messy when we're without Neymar and that because Dunga tries, unsuccessfully, to make the team a Real Madrid where they only play for one referential player, in this case Neymar. Very pathetic performance Brazil had, at least we got the tie on the final minutes with some random raised determination that only showed up on the despair and yet the team was so disorganized and no control. But liked to see Colombia beating the leader Ecuador, Colombia played very well. Though now the table get even more cluttered and with Colombia showing potential to grab one of the places to WC things get harder and harder for Brazil.
