Russia 2018 - Telstar 18

I do like the Azteca, but my favourite is 2002's Fevernova. Probably because it's the first one I really heard anything about. It's a bold new style, kind of ugly-pretty which I'm told is the trend with fashion models (I bet they don't give the Fevernova any credit). It still stands out, but it acts as a watershed for a general design change. Previous efforts were far more conservative and close to The traditional hexagon/pentagon design.

Very in keeping with the current trend to have a nostalgic choice for this year.

Thanks for this pic with all the World Cup Balls. Great. Those from the early years really look like they could cause a lot of headaches when you are trying to make headers too often

My fav. Ball: It has to be the 1970 World Cup in Mexico edition: First, it's the pure black and white with no nonsense (except of the adidas title and second, I vote for it for nostalgic reasons. The 1970 World Cup was the first I could watch (partly). I was 7 years old back then and my father bought me such a ball after the World Cup and I was "the king" for my mates back then when we were playing football and with this ball (normally we played with some unshapely brown ball which couldn't always shot exactly because of this. So, yes I would vote for the 1970 Ball.
