It's not from a film, but...

..takes some beating.
Wow I was remembering this the other night speaking to someone about the original Rez Evil - and I always remember the way the guy said 'Barrrrry Burrrrrrton!' - great stuff :D

It's absolutely ridiculous isn't it? Still a hell of a game but things have moved on a lot.

The voice acting was just as bad...

Haha yeah that is dreadful! I remember being stuck in the museum for ages and then got scared stiff anytime you went into a room and was chased by a zombie - fine game indeed. They moved away from the suspense side of things too much for me and made the series more into action games, and Rez Evil 4 was decent, but it just didn't have the same spark I felt.

This girl in this one Fake Taxi episode.

She just didn't look into it at all. Is it really that hard to moan a little bit and move your body?

Nicolas Cage is a high energy performer who enriched, like, the majority of those films (including Leaving Las Vegas, which he won an oscar for, and yeah I know the academy awards don't mean squat). I feel like he gets a lot of shit because people think 'good acting' is like this objective standard that only encompasses pain and sombre emotions, when really certain actors are meant to play certain parts and there's a good reason why even the most venerated of actors tend to play similar roles over and over again (bar maybe Daniel Day Lewis but then he is a Millwall supporting son of a poet laureate who spends his spare time making shoes in a secluded italian village, so he is basically a living, breathing romantic figure).

Who would you rather watch, honestly, leonardo di caprio or nic cage?

To be honest Jockney, I really like Nicholas Cage. I just find that video funny.

The Rock, Face Off and Con Air are among three of my favourite films as I do like a good 90s action thriller.

Charlie Hunnam as Pete Dunham in Green Street mainly for his abysmal attempt at a cockney accent.

Cant watch that, not for the Nic Cage acting which I'd like to see, but the banal use of the Requiem For A Dream theme again as if there is something poetic about using it - its just lazy.

If you want all around bad acting and dialogue, you should give some dubbed anime a try:

From the 1 minute mark is where you really want to go...

Ironside deliberately hammed it for effect and was superb. The rest were very naff though, and it helped make the film all the more fun because of that and helped cement its old B-movie appeal.

Starship Troopers is based on an anti war book and is a parody of jingoistic war films. It's a brilliant satire of The War On Terror despite being made before 9/11!

It's a great film.
