There's more to this forum than football, such as the Gameshow Marathon etc, prefer it to TFF personally.

To be fair, all of that was on the old one.

Classic threads and making SERNWA cry aside, nah it was shite compared to this, mostly due to the then incumbent board management

Egg on my face - wasn't aware of that, I just used to read the football forums, I never used it for anything else.

I only had about 1,000 posts on it, I hardly ever signed in, just used to observe.

I'll use http://www.onefootballforum.co.uk more if we get promoted, as the Championship forum on there is lively.

Good forum is that, but I do prefer the community on here.

There's some warm and fuzzy responses in here guys, much appreciated.

Just glad most people seem to like the site in general. Obviously it's my own website but I do prefer the close knit community thing in here and I also prefer the software we run on, the little things you can do slightly different to TFF are definetely worthwhile. I used to love TFF, it was a great website, but I'm really pleased we made it across here.

TTOCS - I agree, that's our next plan of action. See if we can start expanding certains areas of the board. I use http://www.onefootballforum.co.uk quite frequently, but I tend to find that it's not as busy as it should be with over 35,000 members. Even though we are relatively small at the moment, I reckon you would struggle to find a community this small on the net that produces so many posts per day.

Ironically, I'd say we are only running at about 25% of what I want the site to be eventually, but I won't spoil that until it comes along.

Obviously I'd use both sites still, but the only reason I came back to TFF was because the L1 forum on 1FF died. The whole TFF closing down saga has kind of endeared myself to this place though.

You use 1FF?

I see you on OTIB often as well, you must be a busy man with football forums ;)
