A very good promo by the Miz that pushed him on even further.

I remember that one. I actually think that was the promo that pushed him into becoming WWE champion and then main eventing Wrestlemania. Or at least the start of a lot of good things he was doing at the time.

You know, back during his short run at the top, I was very high on him... in truth, I think I still am. I still don't think he's great in the ring, but he does play his role so well. During his time with Mizdow everybody praised the fuck out of Mizdow, but I actually think that The Miz played just as important a role in that relationship as the massive ego douchebag. He was the perfect yin to Mizdows yang. The only time when he ever really became a bit shit was when they tried pushing him as a face... now that was forgettable. Keep him as a prick, and he's great.

I'm not sure if he could survive in a modern day WWE environment, holding the title above the Ambrose/Rollins/Owens quality stars, but back at the time I still do think that his title run was justified. It's just a shame they never ran with him.

The Miz is great.

He's one of the only wrestlers that can actually get heat and he knows just how to do it. He was great during his time at the top but was giving terrible feuds which kind of ruined his title run. He is great as the host of tough talk and is one of the best on the mic in the WWE.
