Finished watching rumble 2000, street fight was brutal

Say what you like about hhh, he was committed to the cause. Even if he hasn't married into the family he would have been a main eventer

One thing that people don't think about, is the fact that in HHH's mind he would have always been the 'owners son in law' - Vince said in Triple H's DVD 'King of Kings' that if anything, the entire locker room and Vince himself gave HHH a harder time than most of the others, especially in the early years when him and Steph got together in real life. Vince frowned upon it and said it shouldn't happen at the time.

Must be annoying for HHH to have a career constantly tagged with 'Son in law luxuries'. I'd hate it.

Yeah. He's only got to talk for about 2 minutes with a mic in his hand to show how great he is, and I think I'd actually say that nobody on the planet has ever been better than Triple H in street fight/hardcore type matches. He'd have had one of the greatest careers of all time regardless of who he married, and been worthy of it too.

He's also often labeled as somebody who buried the fuck out of people as well, which again, I think is bullshit. You only have to look at who he's put over in his Wrestlemania matches (Benoit, Batista, Cena, Orton at 24, Bryan) to see... there's a difference between not putting enough people over, and only putting people over when it's right. About the only controversial one for me was Booker T.

Finally signed up for this, got to support the cause!

I was kind of overwhelmed with choice, trying to think of what to watch first, had Armageddon HIAC in my mind, TLC at WM 17, HHH/Austin 2 out of 3 falls, Rock/HHH Ironman, Benoit/Jericho, the Hardcore battle royal at Mania 18 but decided to go for the classic Lesnar vs Angle at WM 19, what a match, that shooting star press fucking hell that could have went so wrong. Will probably watch the above over the next few days when I've the odd free hour or so. Anyone any specific recommendations? Perhaps beyond the obvious, that may have forgotten

First month free, so I've signed up.

Is there a way of searching for say a random Raw in 1998 and then watching them in order from then on? If that makes any sense.

Savage vs Warrior at WM7 is an often overlooked classic. I never knew it existed until I did my WM marathon.

Angle vs HBK at WM 21 is probably my favourite non-title WM match of all time though.

HHH vs HBK, as Saddler said, is a classic... the match I always consider to be my favourite non-WM match of all time. Also, Rock vs Lesnar at the same PPV is superb as well.

The Rock vs Taker vs Angle in a triple threat at Vengeance (2002, I think) is amazing as well.

And uh... CM Punk vs Cena at MitB? Bryan vs Sheamus 2 out of 3 falls? Fuck it, Lesnar vs Cena vs Rollins at Royal Rumble 2015?! While it's great to look at the far gone past, let's not forget the modern classics!

Nope, they only have about 4 from each of the AE Raws on. If you want to watch them I can send you a link to download them.

Watched some old rumbles.

Curtis Axel looks so much more like Arn Anderson than he does Mr Perfect.

Cheers. Think I'll jut watch the odd Raw and Smackdown before each of the PPV's and do them in order. Can't wait for Survivor Series 1999.

Just sign up, it detects where you are and you'll be able to watch straight away. I've had no troubles so far. February for free as well so it's win win.

Have to say I'm loving this so far, just need to try and not over do it by watching too much. Decided to start on King of the Ring 1998, one of my favourite PPV's (for obvious reasons). Going to work through the 1999 PPV's whilst watching the odd Raw in between. Forgot how brutal it was at times!

I know right! We were saying this earlier in the thread. Some of those headshots with chairs are damned uncomfortable to watch, especially knowing what we know now. I've managed to avoid seeing Benoit get hit in the head with anything yet, but it's going to be awful if I happen to come across such an occasion, knowing what that sort of thing led to.

This is an under-rated chairshot in a forgotten match. About 12 mins 25 seconds in.

Just watched the Championship scramble from Unforgiven 2008, great concept, they should bring it back. 5 men involved, 2 start the match, 20 minute time limit, every 5 minutes someone enters. You can pin any time and youre the champion but whoever is champion at the end of the 20 minutes is the actual champion. Shows how weak the roster was at the time as the main 2 matches were

HHH/Hardy/MVP/Shelton/The Brian Kendrick (what a guy) and
Batista vs Jericho vs Rey vs Kane vs JBL

anyone watch the new WWE24 show they have?

first one featured the behind the scenes of WM30. Stone Cold, Hulk and Rock riffing off each other back stage, HHH going through rehearsals for his entrance (with 3 NXT girls I didn't realise, Sasha Banks, Charlotte and Alexa Bliss), Flair crying that Charlotte had her WM moment and the little kid with Cancer. still chokes me up

I cant seem to log in to this anymore, I cleared my history the other day and havent been able to get in since. I go to the login page and put in my details hit login and it puts me back to the sign up advert page, after that I click the login in option again and it just refreshes to the same sign up page. Anyone had this? Know any solutions?

I used to get that problem, but I think it was to do with having Hola/Zenmate or something turned on. You got anything like that for US netflix or something?

Just finished the WWF attitude era of PPV's on my free month of the WWE network. Been averaging nearly 1 a day! Now to watch a couple with my favourite, Rob van Dam in and then I think I'll be cancelling.

edit - and Wrestlemania 17 is the greatest sporting event of all time.

I started watching Royal Rumble 2000 when I first got the network in early January, and FINALLY got around to watching the last two matches today!

Both classics. As everybody else has already said, superb PPV from start to finish.

I now plan on watching a shit ton of Wrestlemania matches between now and WM to hype myself up for it. Will basically start from WM1 and watch all of the matches from my WM marathon that made it onto my list of must see matches. An abridged WM-marathon, if you will, to get myself even more excited (ok, so that's not actually possible) for WM31.

I watched Summerslam 2002 earlier, Kurt Angle vs Rey Mysterio is a cracking match and Ric Flair is absolutely brilliant.
