That was an ok match, an injured Wyatt vs an old, yet a seemingly more healthy Undertaker was never going to be exactly fast paced.

Wyatt, the new face of fear is now 0-2.

So... is a new talent going to win a match at Wrestlemania or not?

Will post my thoughts about the rest tomorrow but can I just say...

That main event was. Fucking. Fucking. Fucking. incredible. Amazing. Fuck me. Christ. My word. Good Lord. Wow.

Fucking hats off to Lesnar, Reigns and Rollins. All deserve every success they get after that. Fucking superb

Reigns did very well in that match there, but will get absolutely no credit for it. It was book exceptionally well and defied all these predictions of it being awful, they all come out of it looking good.

Reigns was fucking superb to be fair to the bloke. I'm utterly pissed here right now so maybe my opinion has been skewed a bit, I'll rewatch tomorrow but FUCK, I fucking loved that.

Can't say the rest of the show was anything special. Perfectly good I'd say except the Wyatt/Taker match which was awful. But it doesn't really matter tbh, those 3 have stole the show - no one will give a fuck about the rest of the card.

That ending probably saved Reign's career. Now he can build himself a bit more, he will be a champ eventually but I don't think I he's quite ready yet. Awesome finale.

Perfect ending. Everybody comes out looking either better or no worse than before. Lesnar wasn't pinned so is still the unstoppable conqueror, Reigns took a hell of a beating from Lesnar and kept coming back and of course my man Seth Rollins is the new WHC. SHUCKY DUCKY.

Expect Reigns will take the title at Summerslam.

That ending keeps Lesnar's tag as The Beast intact, Reigns comes out looking a credible competitor while Rollins finally has his big moment being champ. The battles for the WWE, US and IC titles for the forseeable future is looking to be siiiiick :woot:

Brilliant ending, perfect for the situation.
Tyson and Cesaro were always winning and retaining the titles

Sandow should of won the battle royal, no one cares for big show.

Good for bryan to win the title, him and Cena winning the titles, should add prestige to the titles.
Rollins-Orton was a good match, great RKO to end the match aswell.

Was disappointed in triple h v sting, didn't need all the stable shit, just let them both go, made no sense to me.
divas match was alright, 3 way for the title at ER maybe, we shall see.

Wyatt v Taker was good, taker looked in better shape than last year, which means he will probably wrestle at WM32.
Amazing cash in by Rollins, as said earlier perfect ending.

Looking forward to Raw tonight!

Well, I'll give credit where it's due. Lesnar and Reigns were having a 4-star quality match before Rollins came down, so big kudos to them for that. Had a genuine big fight feel, and there was some really stiff stuff in there. Would genuinely look forward to them fighting again, which is a turnaround they deserve full credit for. Quite happy to admit I was wrong on that.

But, yeah, the booking at the end was ingenious. Lesnar remains unbeatable. Reigns gets the kudos for standing toe to toe with Brock but doesn't get the backlash which would have come from him winning. And Rollins is elevated into the position of opportunistic heel champion à la Edge. Plenty of potential for future angles and match-ups, so it's all good.

I'm going to assume Heyman booked the main event (or at least had a very heavy hand in it) because the rest of the booking was fairly appalling. Hunter is almost beyond parody at this point.

Yep, you're right.

My general impressions are blinded by that wonderful ending but

Tag Match - who cares...and I really like Cesaro/Kidd and the match was a good one, but who cares.

Battle Royal - Ridiculous, Sandow was so over and it'd would've been a great ending for him to clean beat Show. When will the WWE learn that literally no-one gives a shit or wants to watch Big Show or Kane wrestle or talk or doing anything.

Ladder match - Something was 'off' about that. The mark/cynic in me wonders if Ambrose was meant to be a bigger part but him getting concussed and cut open meant there was a bit of improvising was called for. Bryan winning makes sense, him and Cena being midcard champions is great in terms of bringing importance to those titles for once...but that headbutt finish?! No.

Orton/Rollins - solid match. The end sequence was utterly superb. The bail-out on the Phoenix Splash into the curb-stomp-RKO was so fucking impressive. Seth is special and Orton is still very very good when it comes to putting on a PPV match.

Divas - Solid. AJ is terrible and can't even run the ropes, but it was alright. They need to figure that division out quickly - The Bellas are fine, Paige is great and you've got some good talent in developmental - get some proper feuds going with a clearer title picture.

Cena/Rusev - Rusev and Lana are so good. I honestly thought their gimmick had failure written all over it when they came to the main roster - especially with Rusev being so green but they're both superb. Shame he lost but I can see why he did at least. They need to try and keep his momentum going though by putting him straight back into a big feud with someone else as relevant as him - and not some shite crowd killer like Big Show.

Taker/Wyatt - Wyatt just is not good and Taker needs to retire. A very poor, slow, dull match.

Main Event - Everyone's said what needs to be said. Great booking with all 3 gaining a lot from it and all 3 played their part tremendously. A fantastic match that people will probably still be talking about for years and years. As CS said, the match before the cash-in was very good and I think if they'd ended it there with a Lesnar win you'd have said 'fair enough, I'm happy' and if Reigns won I think I'd have been ok too once I got over the 'Super Ce...Reigns' act/finish because, he's proved his critics wrong since the Rumble for me. But yeah, the cash-in sequence was great and it's obviously awesome for Rollins, saw gifs and gifs on Twitter straight after of him doing weird shit in run down gym halls in front of 20 people and like Bryan last year and the Punk rise, it's always that extra special when someone's come from that sort of background.

I went to bed just after the Taker/Wyatt match so I missed what sounds like a very good main event, I'll have to download it now.

First time I've watched WM live and I enjoyed it, didn't think it was anything amazing but it was a solid 7/8 out of 10.

Missed the first 2 matched, Big Show winning makes no sense but I'm glad Bryan won, weird that they've shoved him down to a mid card after his injury.

Rusev v Cena was good, Lana looked like she was getting married which was weird.

Bellas match was brilliant, Nikki and Paige though were looking unreal.

Taker match was shit.

Sting v HHH was good, entrances shit, result shit cos it cost me 113 quid.

Main event, brilliant.

Fantastic show, I had pretty high expectations but this exceeded them, certainly made better that I watched with 200 others in a London Pub. Main event was superbly done, didnt even know you could cash in during a match, definitely the right decision to protect all. I loved HHH/Sting, thought it was going quite nicely up until the interferences as in a match in itself but for me I fucking loved every second of it, Sting leaping off the top rope taking out DX was awesome, in many ways it was creating the moments that never happened but we all wanted to, I thought it was all really cool and a shock ending. We will see what comes of it with Raw but to be fair HHH did need the win, the guys lost something like 10 of his last 11 matches, HHH needed a win. We will likely now get Sting about to retire and Taker calls him out for one more match. I quite liked the Taker/Wyatt match though apparently Wyatt was wrestling injured, I thought Taker looked good, it plodded a little towards the end but given the time and conditions I dont think much more could be expected.

Bryan and Cena as the midcard champions as expected, should be interesting, hopefully doesnt diminish Rollins at the top guy and he gets the main guy spotlight as champion I thought Rock stuff was great as well, dragged out a little but moment was great. That Orton RKO on Orton was insane as well, the height Rollins went. Good crowd as well.

Yo Bish, you forgot the shite grandpas match.

Unintentionally but I guess that says it all. It was better than I expected, mainly because it was booked like a mental TNA match. We'll leave it at that.
