RefWatch; Ref for Wycombe v Wombles game is Brendan Malone, 48, the big fat postie from Wiltshire. Ref since '81 in lower leagues, FL ref for 6 years.

Smug type, says his colleagues describe him as being 'a safe pair of hands'. So that's what the dirty bastards get up to in their little refs office at half-time, I fucking knew it. It's 15 minutes of buggery, fisting & rich tea biscuits. I had the misfortune to glance into a refs changing room once & it was dreadful, there was a huge poster of D'Urso sucking off Jeff Winter while being taken roughly from behind by Mike Dean. Any you all thought that dreadful sucking sound coming from the changing rooms at half time was Ardley's team talk.

Reffed Wombles 8 times; 1-1 draw in '09 v Creepy; 4-0 away loss to Torquay in '11; the fantastic 4-3 win v Gills in Jan '12; the 2-1 loss to Rochdale in '12; the 1-0 loss at home to York in March '14 & the 2-1 loss to Pools in August '14 (two horrible, horrible games); the 1-0 win v Daggers in Nov '14; the 1-0 League Cup defeat by Cardiff in Aug & the 2-0 away loss to Luton in September. Reffed Wycombe 5 times (2-1-2), most recently the 2-0 home loss to Tranmere in '14. Hates the scum, sent a scum off once. Top man. Hates them. Home win % is exactly 50%. In 30 games he has given 75 Y & 6 R - average.

AnagramWatch; Brendan Malone = Mend Anal Boner.

*Last RefWatch for a while because I think I've done them all at this stage, & I think we can all agree that they are a bunch of blind, fat, inconsistent, picky pricks whose mums are very popular in pub car parks. The sooner the lot of them are replaced by giant bionic bunny rabbits the better.

Really key game for both sides. It's impossible to say that any game is a must win given the shiteness and inconsistency of the 7th place contenders, but obviously a win against a fellow "bronze medal" competitor would be a morale booster to either side.

I'd say this is a must win for us given that we're losing ground on the playoffs.

I reckon we're gunna win it, even though thats really just pure guesswork.

I've got the feeling that the play-offs are going to be just out of reach, this year, but that will hopefully give us something to build on next season. 8th or 9th this year.

Oh yeah, haha. I agree. By "win it" I meant the match, not the play offs. Thats exactly what I mean though. We can't afford to lose many more games, or our hopes are pretty much completely over, especially if we lose against a play off rival.

Yip I get what your saying, even if we make the play-offe, I cant see us being promoted, the gap from constant to there bouts is huge, that said Its been a better ride that other seasons in the football league, we all remember last day nerves against Fleetwood.

I have decided not to attend this match as I don't think I can stomach another dose of ainsworths anti football !! Have seen enough of it over the last couple of seasons, the constant feigning of injuries. The favourite one is usually going down clutching the head when in reality no contact has been made.Hopefully a strong ref will not allow them to get away with it,but I doubt it!!.Nothing against Wycombe fans, but I'd rather you go up than have to play you again next season.Hopefully Ainsworth might go elsewhere next season!!

He's on a 5 year contract with 4 years left so us Wycombe fans will have to suffer his style olf football for a few more years :ffs: I hate it and so do the majority of our fans but what can we do about it?

Dons to come away with all the points in a disappointing game.
But it will all be to no avail as we eventually miss out on the play-offs by a couple of points that we routinely gifted to the bottom feeders of the division.

Anyhow, we're guaranteed at least 96 minutes of football.

Cracking result that. Right back in the mix now
I told you we are shit! We have gone backwards this season and i don't care if Ainsworth goes and he takes Paul Hayes and Gary Thompson with him. With 4 years left on his contract there's no chance of that though :ffs:

well we know that generally isn't true.

How the fuck are we still 7th?

Anyway well done AFCW, onto York. Pleased we have no chance of relegating them.
