Is Southwell in contention? Be interesting how up for it he'd be. His only legacy in an imps shirt will be Raggett pushing him out the way for the Burnley winner

Away end sold out with no tickets sold on the day and any Lincoln fans found in the home end will be ejected according to WWFC on twitter.

Yep he's over his injury problem at last and had a decent pre season,i'd rather we start him today and not the useless Paul Hayes.

Good luck for your team, mowgli. Hope they'll win (at least that's what I predicted in our 1FF L2 prediction league).

Greetings to Henning Wehn if you see him in the stands ;)

I'm not entirely sure either club knows what the allocation was and whether it's sold or not!

According to Wycombe we gave you 1,600 at first then another 400 after they sold out,it's only what they put on twitter mate.

Ah right, still a decent turnout in any event.

Our club twitter said 1400 yesterday having earlier said 2000 with potential to get another 350 hence the confusion for us!

No Waterfall for us today, so our only Raggett in our back four was consistently played last season with two debutants in the defence.

Surprised Ginnelly's got the nod over JMD as well.

4 new faces start for us. Our backline shows the most changes, take a draw right now.

Ginnelly was very good last week, set up both the goals and a few more in the other pre-season games. JMD and Anderson really gave us some cracking options out wide.

3 changes for us from last season with Brown in goal,El-Abd in defence and Tyson on the wing,i'm really surprised Ainsworth didn't start Hayes but thank god he's left him on the bench so it's The Beast and Southwell up front.

Imps took the lead through a Green sitter but two soft goals from free kick have Wycombe in front 2-1

Satisfied with that. Sounds like we were more than competitive.

Raggett is definitely off by the looks of it.

Me too mate, very good second half and we should have won it from the radio commentary.
A good point against a decent league two side.

Yeah, a solid away point to start.

Sounds like the switch from 4-4-2 to 4-2-3-1 worked in the second half again, just during pre-season. I think we'll be seeing more of that.

If I'm being honest that's a missed opportunity, Wycombe did fuck all that second half apart from fall on the floor. Thought we shaded it.

Solid point mind. Ought to be winning next weekend.

Wasn't there so take this with a pinch (or a pile) of salt, but according to our message board LCFC are as much of a bunch of niggly cheating c@@ts as we are. :bl:

It's good to have some proper competition in the foul play league again.:bye:

At least our game wasn't the last to finish in League 2 for a change. :ohy:

Good to see Danny Cowley is already showing that he is far too good AND clever for League Two.

Good start, will take that point all day long.

Great to see us back in the league and great to give my Imps legend as a kid Gareth Ainsworth a fantastic reception.

Rumour Raggett's agent didn't want him to play...
Yeah, heard Danny say that (well didn't say Agent but you knew where he was coming from).

Raggett doesn't come across as the type who'd want to sit out a game or try and force anything. I think he appreciates the opportunity and platform that DC and the Club have given him.

Yeah think exactly the same of the lad, christ he was at the kids footy thing week one day last week.
We've put him in the shop window and whatever fee we get for him in the near will pale into insignificance compared with what his goal at Burnley earned us and everything that followed it.

Behave, the ref gave you pretty much everything. Can see where Ainsworth's Wycombe have got their reputation from, club legend or not.

His form dropped off at the end of last season so i'm hoping his goal will give him some confidence,on his day he's a classy midfielder and usually one of those players you expect to see in the starting XI.

Ainsworth is a true disciple of John Beck. Also played at Wimbledon alongside Vinnie Jones for a year or two.

Any fans of other clubs asking who Alex Woodyard is should watch our second goal and see his pass for the assist:
