Xbox One download speed

I've recently bought an Xbox One which came with a digital download game, and it's taken an age to download. Anyone have any advice on how to speed it up? My current download speed is 4.91 Mbits/s.

I've read that if I go offline, then playing a game on a disk starts up in 10-15 minutes. Anyone tried this?

Does anyone know if the PS4 loads from disk online quicker?

You can start a game before it's 100%. I've had both and I'm pretty sure the PS4 was a little quicker with the downloads, but I've stuck with the Xbox One.

Get better internet?
If wireless, move console closer to router, or even better get it wired.

The only real difference between the XBone and PS4 download times is that the PS4 lets you play at an earlier stage of the downloading cycle. Other than that, with the same internet there shouldn't be much of a difference.

Wire it up to your router if possible, I had the same issue before connecting via ethernet.

So Desitny arrived from Boomerang on Monday, and loading the game offline from disk, took 10 minutes or so. The game has to played online though, so when i put the Xbox online it wanted a 7.5gb upgrade. Thankfully that took 'only' 6 hours to download.
