Well, the writing is on the wall now that Smith has just won manager of the month. We never do very well against Bury and Tom Pope/Clarke ALWAYS score against us at the Bescot. I'll be very surprised if we win this game, but if we do then it will really show our credentials. Hope midweek doesn't knock any confidence out of us or the front players, as we had been on fire for the previous few weeks.I hope the fact the main spine have played Saturday - Tuesday for 3 weeks doesn't come back to haunt us.

Isiah Osbourne should make the squad but we look weak at the back with little Liam Kinsella playing at right back (he's a midfielder for me).. if you have a decent left winger he could have some joy. I'd play Henry and Morris wide, Sawyers next to Bradshaw and try to make the pitch as wide as possible.

What's going on at Bury? Hugely expensive squad relative to club size? Good players on paper? Big contracts? Big expectations this season?

Changing the subject slightly, I notice Billy Clifford was with Walsall last season. Seen him a few times and he's stand out good in the National League, how was he for you guys?

Average at best, had a good couple games and a couple absolute shockers. Got released at the end of his 6 month deal in January last year. Think he'd be good in League 2.

Frustrating game against a well organised physical Bury, they scored after 5 minutes and held on.
