Don't know how likely this is to be on given the horrific weather at the moment but hopefully won't be too bad down Walsall way.

Huge opportunity for us to break into the top 6, win this and provided Coventry and Millwall don't both win we should go at least 6th. Compared to their ridiculous away form Walsall have been quite tame at home so hopefully that will continue tomorrow, and I think it will if we play as we did vs Cov on Tuesday night. We need to start taking the chances we create in open play though as we've won the last two games via set pieces and we can't rely on that for the rest of the season.

Given we've won 10 of our last 12 and we're probably due a few poor results, I think I'd be satisfied with a point provided it doesn't come via a last minute goal from Walsall. Whatever happens I hope it's better than last season's performance at the Bescot.

I think this will be an 'either or' kind of game. Either our form will turnaround and we will steal a late 1-0 victory, or we will get pumped 3 or 4/1. Let's be hopeful that it is the first. Regardless, I just hope SOD plays 4-4-2 or at least gets Hiwula on the pitch and near Bradshaw so we actually have a chance of scoring a goal. It's now or never with regards to the top of the division and any hopes of automatic promotion. Teams in good form tend to bring the best out of us, so I am hoping that today will be the same.

How many will Barnsley bring? I was thinking 1,200 or so considering form, the late play-off surge and the fact you have won 10 from 12.

1-0 Saddlers, 5,401 with 1120 from up norf.

Been saying it for months, the signs were there in the Port Vale game on TV - we played awfully and got lucky.

Ever since then, bar a few high points we look slow, devoid of confidence, lacking pace and unable to score or create goals.

We have 3 loan players - not one started.
We have Rico Henry - WHO CANNOT GET A FUCKING MINUTE ON THE PITCH. Despite being of the most sought after young English left back's outside the PL 6 months ago.

All ruined by 1 fucking brainless idiot who has bored every one of our fans, media and now players to death.

I never called for Smith's head once - however, Sean O'Fucking abysmal - OUT.

Absolute joker. The board are also a joke for not loaning players in during January - you need to act before the issue in a promotion race, not hit the panic button when things do start going wrong.

PS - Well done Barnsley, on fire at the moment. Great turnaround after such an awful first half to the season. Was unthinkable to see you near the drop zone in this league. Good luck in the play-offs + enjoy.

Game of two halves if ever there was one. Walsall the better team in the first half, we stood off and let them have time and space to craft a few openings without making too much of an effort to get forward ourselves. Good goal from us and what I thought was an offside one from Bradshaw meant it as level at the break.

Second half was superb from us though. Started strong, scored early on with a corker from Brownhill and then sealed it 5 minutes later. Easy street from then on.

Walsall are clearly a good, passing side who I thought would continue to cause us problems in the second half. However any confidence evaporated as soon as we went 2-1 up and there was no way back after that. Going to be a huge ask to finish top 2 for them now, play-offs should still be attainable though. I can't believe I'm saying this after how we started the season but I'd actually be a bit disappointed if we didn't join them there. Whatever happens this is the best form I've ever seen us in and I'm just going to enjoy it while it lasts.

Good luck for the rest of the season Saddlers, be great to see you go up however unlikely you think that may be now.
