After Boxing Day's feast of football vs Exeter - the highlight being a rogue half time whistle - I'm hoping for better fare this evening to try and entice some of the holiday crowds back during the rest of season, against a Portsmouth side in excellent form away from home.
Hedges' injury is a real blow, we looked totally unbalanced when he went off on Monday, need someone from the bench to step up and really stake a claim for a prolonged run in the side - something which hasn't really happened as yet this season.
The club has tried to big up the win in the Checkatrade trophy earlier this season in anticipation (sigh) but don't fancy us at all in this one, Carl Baker tore us apart last time we faced him. 1-3 (Eaves; Baker x3)
