On balance I'm Bah Humbug! I like the booze/food bit but the present bollocks and the naff music grips me shit.

Boxing Day = morning dogs, football afternoon.

All change next year with the arrival of number one grandson!

Dunno why as I'm usually Bah Humbug, but this year I'm looking forward to Christmas this time around, with the hope it'll cheer me up as its been maybe the worst year for me personally during my life.

The fact that Christmas seems to start as soon as Hallowe'en is over winds me up no end. Adverts, Christmas music everywhere from November 1st. Someone had their Christmas decorations up before Hallowe'en here. So it's a Bah Humbug from me. It's lost it's true meaning and become too commercialised.

I used to love going the pub xmas day and get 6 pints in before dinner at 3pm.

xmas in uk is shit ,far too commercialsed, although i like the way other faiths get wound up on it.

Pretty excited about this year to be honest. Last year was the first year I'd spent away from home for the day itself so I'm dragging my fiance to my parents this time. At the Club by 10am and I'm usually one for the festive music too.

I wish i could hibernate until it's all over. Me and the missus will light a candle for my mate in Wells Cathedral on the way to the pub and we tell each other we're only visiting our local on Christmas Day because it's a Sunday which is our piss up day every week.

I'm currently willing the days to slow down in the hope I'll actually be able to eat half decent portions on Xmas Day, although I'm more concerned about having to miss cheese and crackers, grapes and Port.
