win or we can forget any chance of clutching back a play off place

We have no chance of getting in the play-offs and haven't for a long time. The quicker our entire fan base accepts that the better IMHO. Jones needs to be given the rest of this season as a pressure-free experimentation time, exactly as Still was in his first half-season.

I'd agree that Jones needs a pressure free environment for the moment, not only to assess the squad but because I think personally he is still finding himself as a manager.

I've actually not been overly enamoured with some of his tactical decisions in the past few games, he set us up all wrong at Wimbledon for instance and for all the talk about playing short passing football I think we have run out of ideas with that quite a lot and gone pretty long in some games, look at the goal against Hartlepool, thats a Still goal if i've ever seen one.

But it is his first job and the season is over more or less so i'm not overly concerned about him using these games as a learning experience for himself as much as anything.

Without wanting to get into a debate about this, but even the players are looking at next season, both Green and Mackail Smith have been quoted this week talking about the potential of success next season and using these games to play for a place next year.

Regardless of what you think, its pretty obvious the club are looking to next year already.

Yeah that came across a bit more forceful than intended, sorry Oaky!

Game sounds absolutely dire on the radio, couple of crosses into the box from both sides and thats the sum total of the action it seems. Not sure why we have lined up in exactly the same way as we did last week, thought we were highly ineffective playing this way against Hartlepool with Pigott massively isolated, and sounds much the same again here.

Aaaaaand 1-1.

Sounds an embarrassing goal to concede. One thing i am hoping that Jones is learning is that O'Donnell is proper shit and we need a new right back.

We're not making the po's so neither will you boys ;) We can't be separated remember. But there's always next year.....who knows, we could win the title, with your good selves taking second place. Or the other way round, I'm fine with both!

Yes Olly Lee!

Probably one of the few who actually quite like Lee so pleased for him, sounds a cracking goal!

Well we can't take much from this awful season, but at least we've done our bit towards sending York down. "RIP Luton" they said...

We put them through far worse a couple of seasons before, so no lasting grudge there for me.
