Curzon Ashton....and Carlisle
We've had memorable day, when of course people have picked games and trips they remember.

how about just a moment.....a goal, a save, a moment in the game which you remember best?

Each year when that first ball of the new season is kicked...

...and all these types of thread disappear for another 10 months.

Has to be Paul Claytons hattrick goal in the 6-0 drubbing of Guiseley to confirm our promotion to the Conference Premier back in April 2011. Was a 35 yard stunner that had the keeper beaten all ends up. Ironic now then that Guiseley are Conference Premier and ourselves are in the North!

Ryan Donaldson's fantastic free-kick which finally gave me hope of escaping the Conference

Did you start this thread because, officially, Carlisle United have a public holiday every 24th August to commemorate that day when you all got vertigo?

@5:18 :2thumb: Admit I cried at the end though. It had been a long, long time coming. However, it was the last real happiness before a long slide down the divisions over a decade.

Edit: More recently, Stephen Hunt's goal towards the end against Blackburn that won us another season in the PL a few years back. We were massive then. Bigger than Vale.

Genuinely can't remember going as crazy as the moment this went in. We deserved to get precisely zero from that game but somehow escaped with a point. Knew at that point that the title was in the bag and the non league years were over.

On the radio, I remember this one well. We've always struggled at Luton but defended really well so when two graduates of our youth system, Josh Coulson and Rory McAuley (both defenders) combined to put us 1 up in the second half I think most of my village heard me.

That and Chris Maxwell's penalty save at Grimsby 2 years ago were big radio celebrations.

Yep, we were robbed that day. Was an excellent tactical display from Money. We weren't breathtaking but barely gave Luton a shot.

I'm just relieved the season was already gone for us by then. If that goal had mattered, I'd have been livid. As it is, it worked out good for both of us and I wouldn't change anything about that season based on how it ended!

Still adamant that if I could pick to have had our season or Lutons - I'd have ours every time. Winning at Wembley cannot be matched (twice)
