Yeah he's been decent. 8 goals from a wide position isn't too shabby and he's got great movement too.

Considering the severity of his injury I'm amazed he's still got a fair amount of pace. He'd probably get my vote for POTY.

I actually think he'd do well as a striker alongside stockley. He's scored a couple of headers along with some tidy finishes, so that along with his pace and movement would make him a decent striker imo. I understand he played as a striker with you guys?

Play him as a striker next season and he stays fit and he'll score 20+

That`s right, he`d got 7 goals by the end of October before his injury and was seriously looking good,

A lot of our fans (maybe not the ones on here) would say Gary Dicker. I'd say Jabo Ibehre, closely followed by Danny Grainger.

Probably Joss Labadie.

Comes to something when you say your best player this season is a bloke who spent the first 2 months of the season finishing a 6 month ban for biting.

In the division, Kemar Roofe... by a mile.
He's barely in our top 3 players this season, he's been very good and is probably the best player in the league on his day, but over the whole season no way has he been the best
I don't get the roofe hype at all, over the 180 minutes I saw he was totally average at best and he only seems to score against the minnows...
This is a shocking post, as the other Oxford fan already posted a list of teams he's scored against this season I won't bother naming them. It's also weird to not get the hype for someone who's got 25 goals already because he's had 2 quiet games against yo, players have quiet days, doesn't mean they're overrated, he'd walk into any team in this league

Luke Gambin has been our best player this season in my opinion. One of the best technical players we've ever had and causes real chaos when on form. Torn some teams apart this season. The run he made against Northampton to set up the penalty was a snippet of what he's capable of.

How can someone with 25 goals not be in your top 3. An absurd post.

Best goals per game ratio in the division (min 10 goals; 150 minutes or less):
Matty Taylor (Bristol Rovers) - 130 mins
Jay Simpson (Leyton Orient) - 137 mins
Rhys Murphy (AFC Wimbledon) - 142 mins
Jack Marriott (Luton Town) - 146 mins
Barry Corr (Cambridge United) - 146 mins

I fail to see how loan players can be considered as player of the season
Kemar has scored 25 goals and a number of those have been game changers and game winners.

For me that pips him ahead of Lundstram for our player of the season, just.

For us it'll be mchugh in my opinion very good dm having transferred from Cb at start of season shame he's been injured a few times and coincidently it's been when we've had our 2 bad spells, closely followed by Carey and nelson.probably would've been Carey but for injury.

But I didn't say that - I said best players. For me he is just ahead of Baldock, based on being here longer. Then Sercombe, Lundstram.

Roofe wasn't great against us, but I've seen enough of him from highlights of other games and in live TV games to recognise that he's the second best player in the league behind Bingham.

Roofe didn't play against us in the 1st game I don't think then in the return game he was anonymous.

Doesn't make him rubbish though, I couldn't possibly judge him on one game - he is obviously good!

Our POTS I'd probably give to JJOT, just about ahead of Adam Smith, David Buchanan and Ricky Holmes.

Who has be played well against? Didn't do much against us bar convert a penalty. I've seen Oxford on the box v Swansea and countless amounts of highlights and Roofe is the best player in this league by a mile for me.

I said barely, as in he probably is number 3, and simply because other players have over the season performed better than him, I imagine i've watched him a fair bit more than you and thus can make this judgement

Just like to mention that the goal that Roofe 'scored' against Luton actually took a deflection that took the ball approximately 10 metres away from where it was initially heading.

Check the one against Rovers though. Striker!

Constantly injured. I feel for the guy, comes across as a decent chap, just gets no luck.

We have a dull bunch this season.

Freddie Woodward was doing well in goal but was recalled by Newcastle ditto Paul Jones and Pompey. Rhys Murphy scored a few and was looking good but his loan ended and we failed to sign him permanently, now at Wimbledon. Mitch Hancock looked a decent left back but now back at Brum....you can see where this is headed. All the players who have played well on a regular basis are loanees.
The player with the most "talent" is Gwion Edwards but does not do enough over a season (wingers in general).

Hurts me to say this but holding my nose Matt Harold.

Puts in a shift, causes problems but as exiting as dandruff.
