No, not the usual, tedious efforts where everybody guesses where everybody will finish, but more what people think will happen over the course of the season, and their reasons for selecting the teams that they do.

Taken from another forum, so I can't take credit for the question, unfortunately.

The team that surprises us all and does very well?

The team that starts off great but then falters as the season progresses?

The team that will be up there all season then mess it up right at the end?

The team that will be fighting against relegation when they really shouldn't be?

The team that will be first to sack their manager?

The team that will pretty much dominate the league for the full season?

The most hated team in the league?

The team that plays the best football?

That team who just seems to have been mediocre all season, stuck in mid table?

That would be the worse possible outcome, I'd prefer to go down as long as P.Diddles goes.

The team that surprises us all and does very well?

Might not surprise some people, but I can see Scunthorpe doing quite well. Made some solid signings and have a decent manager for this level.

The team that starts off great but then falters as the season progresses?

Millwall. Dunno why, just can see them starting quickly and maybe sitting in the top 2 after 10/15 games then falling away after that.

The team that will be up there all season then mess it up right at the end?

Pretty easy, Sheff U. They just seem to bottle it year after year.

The team that will be fighting against relegation when they really shouldn't be?

Blackpool. Not sure why they shouldn't be mind.

The team that will be first to sack their manager?

Oldham. Think they'll get off to a terrible start, sack Kelly and get a half decent replacement to help them stay up.

The team that will pretty much dominate the league for the full season?

Wigan unfortunately.

The most hated team in the league?

Millwall for the fans, Blackpool for the owner and Doncaster for the players.

The team that plays the best football?

Rochdale. Will be harder for them in their 2nd season, but if they are anything close to what they were like last season, they'll be one of the teams to watch I think.

That team who just seems to have been mediocre all season, stuck in mid table?

Peterborough. Enough quality and nous to not get dragged into a relegation battle. Not enough quality to challenge for promotion and unconvinced by the management team.

Burton won't be a surprise package because it seems everybody thinks they're going to do well.

It would be more of a surprise if they did shit and got relegated.

I actually think we may be the surprise package, but we shall see.

Wigan will bounce straight back along with Barnsley

Perhaps neither. We won't be shit, nor will we be a "surprise package".

What we will be is Like a bowl of fruit. In the middle of the table

Who or what the fuck is Brent Rambo, Joes??

My genuine thoughts though.

Think Cov will piss the league, and have been saying so since before the end of last season. I've said it to you even.

Scunny in 2nd.

Playoffs any 4 from Sheffield United, Barnsley,Doncaster,Rochdale,Fleetwood, Wigan,Bury, and ourselves if we start well.

Don't think we'll struggle but we could well be the side that sits between 9th and 14th from August-May.

Think Milwall will struggle down here for a few seasons like they did last time they dropped into tier 3, Wigan won't necessarily bounce straight back, and Blackpool will be lucky to not make it 2 in 2, and complete a huge fall from grace.

Out of the 4 promoted sides Bury will be competetive, as will Burton. Southend will probably stay up, but I fancy Shrewsbury to drop straight back down.

Surprising - Fleetwood
Starts well and falters - Donny
Does well and fcks it up- Sheff Utd (obviously)
Fighting against relegation - Chesterfield
First to sack manager - Chesterfield
Dominates the league - Wigan
Most hated - Biggest fuckwit fans so far are probably Millwall, Chesterfield, Bury, Vale/Crewe and us
Best football - Coventry, as long as they keep the footballing philosophy of Pressley
Medicore mid-table - Probably us

I've based this on nothing.

On what basis are we going to dominate the league? We may have the best manager but our squad is terrible. We have more of a chance of going down than dominating the league
