Think he'll get offered a deal in the Championship?

I'd give my right bollock to get him back.

No, he's just not played enough.

I like Ledesma but theres no way he'll get another deal with us or elsewhere in the championship. He robably needs to go back to you to reignite his career, you can have Becchio too.

We were often linked with Demetriou when he was at Orient and still figuring out his best position, so wouldn't be surprised if we moved for him if he is looking for a London club.

Talk is, that even if we had been promoted to the Championship that he wasn't sticking around. Commutes from London and doesn't fancy moving north permanently, so I'd say that you and Brentford are probably the frontrunners.

I'll bet anyone a tenner we sign Milan Lalkovic.

Have him to be honest, commands a decent wedge, hasn't improved as a footballer since his Chelsea days and despite providing some moments of quality/a decent goal return, he's far too inconsistent to start each week at this level, nevermind the Championship.

I hope to see us release all but about 5 players and almost start from scratch...raiding Northampton for Smith and O'Toole would be a good start. Ideally our starting XI for me would be:

New
Brayford New New New
New Basham New New
Adams Sharp

(formation dependent on Wilder)

Cant see it happening mind, may be a bit too brutal to axe that many and still expect them to gel enough for promotion.

Why hasn't he featured much mate? I thought it looked a fantastic signing at the time.

Never fit.

He was on loan with us season before looked brilliant but since we signed him he's never looked like wanting to be fit and is overweight.

Sounds like we're going in with an improved offer of £200,000 for George Moncur today.

If the rumour that we got 200k for Miles Storey to Aberdeen is true, I suspect we might match that bid. My only glimmer or hope is that GM was born in Swindon and has some affection for the place.

However, I also was born in Swindon and my affection for the place is on a par with mushroom quiche. (I hate mushrooms)

Surely the bright lights of run down South East London will be the clincher.

If Power thinks he'll be worth double or treble what he can get him for, he'll splash the cash.

To be honest, Moncur's got to be worth £250,000.

Anyway, why would he sign for a club without a manager. And, conversely, why would a club buy a player before appointing a manager?

We were interested in January but offered a pittance.

How high would you be likely to go for a player not proven in the Championship and that is now at a L2 club?

Good question and one I'd like an answer to although, it's not unheard of in football.

We signed Clarke-Harris from Oldam for 400k (with add ons) and Bowery from Villa (who had only played league 2 before then for 350k with add ons).

So I'd say that we'd go as far as 400k but Colchester might not fancy doing business with us given we offered 75k in January.

£75k probably is bit of a piss-take for one of their key players when they were trying to stay up

Not sure that will matter now though, it looks inevitable that he's going to be leaving and I'm sure Colchester will want him going to the highest bidder.

Millwall fans aren't that bad. Found it difficult to shake off historical problems.

Funniest thing I saw last season when we played them was when a stream of their fans were making their way back to the station and a Town fan outside the pub - a huge black fella - offered out each and every one of them as they went passed.

And you belong to a town that covered up sexual abuse of children for nearly twenty years. What of it?

The town didn't cover anything up. The council, police and muslim population of Rotherham did and I don't belong to any of those communitites, thank fuck.

I usually think some of the stick SERNWA gets is undeserved but that's a classic.

'The town didn't cover anything up' and then accused the council of the town, the people who police the town and some of the people that live in the town.
