Feel free to hold that opinion of course. If his signing was down to Mourinho and only Mourinho you might have a point. But I believe United as a club/brand want him as a player and have for years, Woodward and co. have driven this signing as much as Mourinho.

I don't recall us being linked to Zlatan prior to Mourinho joining, they have a great relationship going back to their Inter days and everything suggests he was one of Mourinho's main targets.

I highly doubt he would be joining but for Mourinho, and as Stocky said, Mourinho wouldn't pursue a player if he didn't think he'd improve the team.
