Big fan of the Bradford kits again. Sponsor is legendary as well. Always looks good.

Proud that we’ve stuck with JCT 600 for so long - some real history with the late Jack Tordoff and his company.

Have you had black and white stripes before?? Just wondering if it's harking back to an old kit or something? At the risk of being a pedant too, I'd say that's more like a Notts County/Juve kit with the white shorts and socks.

Our away kit has now been released, a take on our away kit from our title winning side of 15/16. I think it was previously in a bid to raise money for breast cancer. I like it.

The soundwave is "Northampton Town im proud to be" part of our main song. Nice touch. We definitely have 3 striking kits this season.

Home.
Away.
Third.

Our 125th anniversary kits have knocked it out of the park. Best in the league for mine.

Self praise is no praise. They are a nice selection of kits, although I don't like the blue and brown one, looks like smurf diarrhea. (fully aware it's a nod to history as well as the wrong shade of blue for a smurf)

Yeah that Cobblies 3rd kit is absolutely mingin'. Away kit is alright. Really like the home kit even if it does look more like a Stevenage kit than a Northampton one.

the 1st ones not much better - it looks like the 2 guys have just come out of the kitchen with white aprons over red tops....

I like the away kit, but the other two are fairly rank.

Isn't there a poster that usually does a 1 to 24 on his favourite kits? I think he was a Cambridge fan.

Dismayed reading the last few messages. Clearly wouldn’t know fashion if it jumped up and smacked you round the face.

It's too light a shade of blue as well. Wimbledon should be navy blue, not royal.

Wimbledon FC were royal blue for pretty much their entire history until they moved to Selhurst Park, which is why when they reformed in 2002 they went for royal blue

Fair enough. I guess it just depends how you remember them from when you first started watching football - I first went in 1995 and for the next decade or so they were certainly a Navy coloured kit so that's influenced my thought process.

Yeah Vinnie Jones in tiny little navy shorts was definitely a thing but I'd have associated the more royal tone with AFCW, but had no idea about it being an actual thing like Jared has just mentioned.

If only the old Wimbledon had won a big memorable game in their royal blue kit eh.

Club transparency:

Bradford City AFC is delighted to announce record sales figures of the club’s all-new, Macron 2022/23 home shirt.

A total of 2,319 units mean like-for-like sales are up 36% on last year, over a 27-day selling period, which in turn represented an increase of 53% on figures from the 2020/21 season.

Launched alongside the ‘Own It’ campaign, the first jersey of the Macron era has witnessed unprecedented sales, with first-week numbers of 1,404 falling just 304 units short of last season’s 27-day total of 1,708.

The 2022/23 Macron home shirt will be the final-ever fully-striped Bradford City AFC shirt, following the introduction of a new EFL regulation from the beginning of 2023/24.

In order to further aid those suffering from colour blindness, shirts with striped patterns must have a solid, single-colour rear, going forward.

The club’s retail manager, Dale Whiting, said: “We have been very impressed by the demand we have seen for the new home shirt, after what has been a very busy first month for the all-new Bradford City Store.

“Our 2022/23 strip has proven very popular indeed, with more stock already on the way over from Italy in order to cope with high demand.

“Macron certainly impressed with a classic design, and we have been delighted by how the kit has gone down among supporters, as we once again announce record sales figures.

“We are excited to see how numbers compare across our away and third strips for the coming campaign, with further stock of the new-look training range set to arrive in-store this week.”
