This could be a good idea for a new competition, every one starts with a low stake, then see who gets the furthest, maybe not just betting on over 0.5 but with the the team betting thread going quiet it could be a good idea

Just so you know if you're looking at the main European leagues and are playing 0-0 HT scores you're statistically looking at chances of between 4 and 5/1 on you losing, so you should be able to put a short run together. Premier league only, 33% of games are 0-0 at HT, but only 8% finish 0-0, so basically 1 in 4. This is obviously at present and can change over the course of the season, but based on what we've had at the halfway point it's a good marker.
