Here’s a thread idea I’ve borrowed from another football forum. What would the National League table look like based on each club’s manager’s playing career? Below is each club (at the moment) and manager:
Aldershot Town: Danny Searle
Barnet: Darren Currie
Borehamwood: Luke Garrard
Bromley: Neil Smith
Chesterfield: John Pemberton
Dagenham: Daryl Mcmahon
Dover Athletic: Andy Hessenthaler
Eastleigh: Ben Strevens
Halifax Town: Pete Wild
Harrogate Town: Simon Weaver
Hartlepool Utd: Dave Challinor
Kings Lynn: Ian Culverhouse
Maidenhead Utd: Alan Devonshire
Notts County: Neil Ardley
Solihull Moors: James Shan
Stockport County: Jim Gannon
Sutton Utd: Matt Gray
Torquay Utd: Gary johnson
Wealdstone: Dean Brennan
Woking: Alan Dowson
Wrexham: Dean Keates
Yeovil Town: Darren Sarll
At first glance, I’d say that Maidenhead would be the next National League champions with Barnet in play-off contention but it would be interesting to do a more detailed table.
