Threads not snapping to most recently read post

Not sure if it's just me, but when I open a thread I've already read it just loads the top of the thread and doesn't take me to the first unread post. Not a major problem but a bit of a pain having to scroll. This is on Android has been happening for a few days now.

I get it too on mobile as I'm not using adblocker. The bet 365 ad takes so long to load and when it does it jumps back to the top of the thread, so am halfway through reading the latest post and it jumps back to the top!

4 admins and 4 moderators on this site. One admin hasn't been online in 30 days the other three in well over a year.

Can't see one mods profile but of the other three none have been online in at least 6 weeks!

It appears that forum adverts are causing the issue. I've just tested it out by turning off my ad blocker and the problem occurred. It doesn't when the ad blocker is on. The same thing happens on my android phone. Chrome doesn't snap to the latest post but Adblock browser does. I installed that on my phone last week and it is very good.

Reading back, I see that I'm not the only one to have discovered this.

This site died years ago thanks to Tractor Boys, the only good thing about being non league was migrating to the other forum which is so much better than this pile of shit one.

Didn't seem dead when I sold it for mid 5 figures.

Every section on here used to be very active including all the league sections plus off topic, now it’s just League 1 and League 2 keeping the place going, I’d say that’s pretty dead.

Even with that fixed the Bet365 ad is still snatching focus too.
