Steve Evans has activated the 12 month extensions to Ollie Rathbone an Hakeem Odoffin and said he hopes to sign them up to new contracts over the summer break.

That's good news as they should both shine in League 1.

Putting here as this is where we will likely be, being linked with Ben Sheaf from Coventry, regardless of if we get relegated or not. Seems unbelievably fanciful to me, top player and would have thought if he were to leave Coventry it would be to a team of a much higher level rather than at best a sideways move.

Pompey linked with everyone at the moment. Ex celtic wonder kid Karamoko Dembele who was one of the best attacking midfielders in league one this season. Another loan for Man City midfielder Alex Robertson who we had on loan this season. Unsurprisingly linked with ex winger/forward Jamal Lowe

Liam Millar put a goodbye post on social media. No surprise. Lowe played him out of position all season and he deserves a higher wage than we will offer.

Top winger.

Seems like Hull are triggering the option to buy Ryan Giles for us. Reputed that the fee is for £4.25m. Record signing for 5m and personally think we’ve done well to only lose 750k on him. Never really looked at home or comfortable here at all, didn’t have that aggressive approach to his game that we like to play with

Slightly surprised they’ve gone for it as he didn’t seem to pull up any trees in the loan and it’s a chunky fee for a LWB. We will almost certainly be in the market for a replacement this summer as imagine Doughty will be off and remain in the premier league.

Coventry sniffing around Alan Browne on a free. I suspect he'll have loads of options but I'd rather see him go to Celtic or abroad.

We’ve not been linked to too many players so far: Josh Windass, Herbie Kane, Viktor Johansson, Thierry Small, Jamal Lowe & Bosun Lawal.

Depending on who we keep on who is out of contract we could be looking at upwards 16-18 players through the door this summer so expect it to be very busy once we get going.

Got more chance of paying back your creditors than Windass signing for you.q

Oh aye, because the 27 goals in 129 Championship games and consistently on the physio’s table makes him such a high commodity that he’s beyond our reach. It’s a Mel Morris era signing and one I hope we avoid.

You can't afford the wages and he can't stand your club

With Lowe's comments about wanting more experienced leaders I would not be at all shocked if we make an offer to Windass. We've tried for him a couple of times in the past going back to his Accrington days.

Not for me though, maybe 5 years ago.

If we're stuck with Lowe and his wank, lower-league 3-5-2 system then we should be going all out to try and bring in Max Lowe on a free, and Cody Drameh who will be surely exiting Leeds after a sub-par showing at Birmingham on loan.

Those two could really transform this team, however, they'll also want paying the going rate which will no doubt be the stumbling block. I don't rate the manager but this is the key difference between us finishing 10th-11th and nicking 6th.

Greg Cunningham and the useless turd, Ben Woodburn released.

Alan Browne offered a contract which he'll likely reject. Ched Evans offered a player/ coach role. Lewis Leigh who is on loan at Crewe has also been offered a deal.

To everyone's shock, Patrick Bauer still has another year left to run despite him being totally frozen out of the first team. One of many contract fuck ups by Peter Ridsdale.

We got promoted playing 352, it’s about the players fitting that shape though otherwise it can look way too timid I’ll grant.

Lots of people hopeful we will sign Drameh. I liked him hes by no means a flying wingback but very solid overall I think. Bad season with Birmingham though obviously has tanked his value, Leeds were asking for silly money last summer off us so we stepped away but will get nothing now.

Although not confirmed yet: A lot of talk around the club is that Warne has been ruthless with players out of contract and subsequently Wildsmith, who won the golden glove last season, has been allowed to leave. It also sounds like Vickers (back-up) is going too - assume back to Rotherham where he was well liked. He is under contract but I don’t think the club will stand in his way should he want a number one gig somewhere. He had a horrible year, with his wife passing.

A couple of different people have mentioned Daniel Iverson is coming in to be the number one, who was on loan at Stoke last season. I don’t know too much about him, think he did well at Preston a couple of years ago. He seems well regarded anyway.

Confirmed now. It gives us a clearer picture of the scale of rebuild required and in some ways the ambition of the club going into the summer.

Collins and Sibley in talks over new deals. Barkhuizen and Forsyth activated additional years through performance related clauses. Thompson has had the year on his deal extended. Robinson, young lad who has barely seen the pitch, signs a new two year deal.

Waghorn, Smith, Gayle, Hourihane, Loach and Wildsmith gone. Bird, Adams and John-Jules at the end of their loans.

We are potentially looking at up to 14 players and more if players leave. However, it has to be said that we needed better and younger players for the Championship so the plan worked out. Wildsmith a strange one because he’s barely put a foot wrong for us, bar some mad moments, but we signed him as he was released from a League One club to battle it out for the starting role for a club with no contracted goalkeepers. He performed to the point where he obviously wanted to be paid as a Championship number one. Warne obviously wants fundamentally a better goalkeeper, but yeah I can’t fault him in his time at Derby. There is talk he potentially lands at Portsmouth, but I thought they were happy with Will Norris? It will be interesting to see where he goes.
