First fifteen minutes have done nothing to convince me I'm wrong in not being a fan of us playing 4-4-2. Carlisle so far getting the better of the midfield battle with the extra man there.

Fair play to Carlisle they haven't come to just try and shithouse a draw. Guy was pretty impressive, bit like when we had him on loan many moons ago.

Other than that Whitehead is lucky to still be on the pitch. Rank stupidity that foul on Toure I think it was. We've looked ok coming forward at times but Carlisle overall will be the happier of the two teams.

On a bright note Mitch Clark has looked better as the half has progressed and the centre backs Legge and Crookes have done alright.

The other problem is Rodney is not a proper winger. If we're going to play that way take either Robinson or Pope off, Rodney into the middle and put McKirdy on.

But people shouldn't be a surprised by this. There's a reason not that many teams use this formation much nowadays.
