Why have there been other National League games go ahead when multiple players are self isolating yet ours is called off after a suspended Sutton player exhibits 'flu like' symptoms overnight?

I think on reflection it is better to be safer than sorry (the last thing we need is another covid outbreak so soon after the first one), but again some consistency from this amateur league would be nice.

Surely Beadle's last game here. Been playing for a 0-0 from the start and with a 6 man back line yet 3-0 down and still constantly leaving Chesterfield forwards unmarked.

What’s the National League South like then? We’ll only be there for a season on our way through to going bust (if we last that long).

With the 50 million pound re-development of the Hive being refused by Harrow council, hopefully our chairman will get the message that he's not liked or wanted in the area and F**K's OFF. I would rather start again from scratch rather than go through what we are going through.

It's looked in recent weeks like we were going to give someone a good hiding. I do feel for Barnet here though honestly. Looks like the heads just went totally as soon as we scored, a sight we're all the familiar with ourselves!! Hope you guys turn it around soon.

6-0! Blimey.

Barnet not in the game from the kick off - surely the manager has to go after that?

10 points from a possible 12 under Rowe - long may it continue!

The manager is only a small part of the real problem. The chairman has to get rid for us to have any chance of surviving, although the damage is already done really. Even if you did find someone willing to take us on (and imagine how hard it would be to do a deal with that prick TK!) where is the future for the club? We’re finished. This season has been coming for many years.

6-0 FT.

What an absolutely outstanding performance and victory which completely mirrors the mood around the club at this moment in time!

A poster on our forum mentioned how it’s actually emotional seeing our Club begin to get back on its feet following a disastrous 5 years in which the life and soul really was completely sucked out of us.

Akwasi Asante and Jak McCourt today were absolutely unplayable

But in the doom and gloom of our side of things, it is always nice to see a club on the climb again. Solid investment into a new manager, informed recruitment bringing quality in to supplement what they already had, big enough fanbase to build back into a league team again.

It may not be this season but the early signs for Chesterfield are good - might just be a honeymoon period at the moment but the backing the new manager has been given looks promising.

We were in the play offs a couple of months ago...

However, this really is pretty dire, if not rather predictable. Beadle was never a good appointment, plus we did not have a squad in place for even half a pre-season and we are paying the price now.

It’s hard to see Beadle surviving this latest humiliation.

Steady on, have you not seen our defensive record?! You should be disappointed that you were only 1-0 up half times against our non-existent defence.

I wouldn't get too emotional, we put 5 past them last week. They're really not very good. :ds:

DC papered over the cracks. Even he couldn't cope with the internal issues brought about by TK for much longer.

I’m not just talking about today’s result... I’m talking about the whole feeling around the club since Rowe walked through the door.

The pain we’ve suffered supporting this club these last few years led many (including myself) to lose faith we would ever see good days again! (Yes it really got that bad)

Although it’s early days the signs are good. People might say ‘don’t get carried away’ but after what we’ve had to endure since Paul Cook left... I think we can be forgiven for getting a little bit excited!!

I was firmly in the don't get carried away group.

My feet are now firmly OFF the ground.

I’m still not getting carried away but that was fantastic. It’s been a great start from Rowe, and Barnet could have let 8 or 9 in given the chances we had.

the new signings looks good - Asante will score a few, Taylor looks a very good signing and McCourt and Whelan look to have a bit of quality in the middle of the park.

things could be starting to look up. Dover away next in the league, another game you now expect us to get something from.

You’re forgetting the new signing Haydn Hollis!!

Cannot believe the upturn in form from this man. Couldn’t even get in the team earlier this season when we were shipping goals for fun. He’s now come in, helped keep 3 clean sheets from 4 and scored 2!!

What a man!
