A managerial change won't help, this is the lowest quality squad we have had in years. Half our starting 11 is out injured which doesn't help but we just have zero quality throughout.

Cox also has a longer leash due to his Scunthorpe connections and Covid meaning we have a lot less money.

Great response to the previous two games. Looked like we played more as a unit today. We are not the sort of team who blow opponents off the pitch but when we play like that will always be competitive.

Massive win and well deserved! 9 minutes injury but managed it well and finally got a goal, played well and defensively solid.

Still problems to sort but a huge result.

Side Note a horrific injury for Darren Gibson, hope he can recover from that.

Have to say though Newport spend a shit ton of their time going down soft and wasting time. Shithouse tactics but they do it very well. They definitely should have scored more than once as well.

Blimey, a home win. Sounded like we were the better of two poor teams, at least we had a good excuse. Goal was a good move and Collins had a couple of other gilt-edged chances than came off woodwork. Steveange didn't really trouble our keeper for all they occasionally approached OK.

In no sense was that a pleasure to watch, but still, even in our depleted form, we deserved the win.

Good win and performance against Colchester. For the majority of the game we were the better team and in all fairness Colchester earned their goals during a spell either side of half time during which they were a very good team. The third goal was deserved and we'll enjoy just being on good form.

We're starting to look like a decent team, there are a few issues still though. We let the opponents have a lot of the ball and we take a hell of a lot of chances without scoring a lot. Can't see us blowing anyone away because we'd have to create an insane amount of chances to score more than 3, if we put away simple chances we'd be thrashing everyone already.

All in all, a good afternoon for us.
