We’ve looked quite far ahead of Orient even at 1-0 down, more than deserved the 2-1 lead.

Orient are lucky our best strike force aren’t on the pitch because they’d be dead and buried by now, they look absolutely shite.

That half of football is ourselves in a nutshell, able to pull teams around for a period, able to score goals and create a chance or two, but absolutely useless at defending and dealing with the oppositions key players.

Another 2 goals conceded as well, yku can see from this game which team has the experienced manager and which team has the rookie.

Sadly for Ross he is currently sleep walking into the sack, which would be a shame but with the run of fixtures we have coming it’s looking likely a lot of questions are going to be asked of him.

I’ll take appalling - but we should have had three goals ourself! Loads to work on for Bradford, even more for Mansfield.
Yeah, we had a few lapses at the back and gave you a couple of free headers but overall I think we were happy enough with you putting the ball in the box from all angles and backed ourselves to deal with them. Our finishing was poor which is probably our biggest weakness but at least we're creating the chances.

Morton on for Rose, haven't been impressed with Morton yet so I'm a bit concerned about that. Not sure what the thinking behind that change is, seems very unnecessary if Rose isn't injured.

Get in there! After looking like relegation fodder 2 games in we look a different side after our break, delighted!

Orient definitely the better side in the second half there, Edwards didn't really get into the game until the last 5mins. We were on the ropes for sure, but felt like we had danger in our counter attacks and that's what forced the pen. Would definitely like to see the handball shout at the end from Orient at the end, as it looked like they should have had a pen. Absolutely frantic end to that game though, was a really entertaining match.

Absolute quality run from Owen Windsor to force that pen too.

No papering over the cracks for us this week, once again we showed plenty of endeavour to get back into the game and scored a well take equaliser but the bigger picture as a whole is we are shocking as a team defensively, every time Grimsby pressed you fancied them to cause us problems.

We keep having to score at least 2 goals to stand chances in games and sadly when you're doing that its going to catch up with you. Looked like we was denied a penalty of our own at the end there with the handball, but the bigger picture for us is we're so bad as a defensive unit. It would've just papered over the cracks like I said.

Grimsby looked well drilled under Holloway, but badly tired I thought in the final 20mins after putting alot of work and thats when we equalised, but they have enough about them to be midtable.

Key game for us is next weekend away at Stevenage, lose that along with the game at Tranmere on Tuesday night and I feel the fat lady will be clearing her throat for Ross Embletons reign here, we simply haven't improved enough under him.

Another game, another abject failure for the manager who clearly has lost it.

a goalkeeper that can’t keep
A defence that can’t defend
A midfield that may as well no exist
Him playing bowery all the time whos basically a fat donkey
Keeping said fat donkey who wouldn’t know what a football was if it smacked him in the face on over Nicky Maynard At half time
Dreadful football
No tactics
No hope
No ambition

cheers Graham, bye for now

We started the game so strongly it didn’t really allow Colchester to play. We penned them in, suffocated them, as we did to barrow in the first half of the previous home game. When they finally did get out they looked really dangerous and at 2-2 I thought they would go on and win, but credit to our players they found another gear and deserved the 3 points. Could have been more in the end.

Thought we looked pretty classy today and quite easily could have more than 5.

Digby reminds me of wanless in the centre of the park but he knows how to actually kick the ball rather than the opposition, excellent signing, dunk looks rejuvenated as well, I wanted him gone but I’ll be happily proved wrong if he keeps performing, boateng looked class as expected.

the whole team deserves credit for that performance but I’m not convinced by may at all.

Games coming thick and fast for everyone now, our squad is looking large enough to cope (no major injuries yet). We appear to have a good blend of young talent and old heads for balance, Ollie getting them fired up, interesting times coming for us. Seven loan players in our 29 man first team squad.

Everyone knows Evatt will win this one and then lose his next six.
if we beat you and he goes into that sixth game losing 5 in a row he will be sat at home for the sixth game

I bet the entirety of Exeter is devasted about your decision.... It may even sway us to lose our next few matches, let's hope we can keep this shocking news away from the first 11 so it doesn't effect their confidence

Fucking hell, I work with a Bolton fan and listening to him you would think they had assembled a Championship side to play in League Two. I dread to think how much money he wasted on various bets on them raping the league.

I knew Doyle would be a bad signing for them, he's not a good finisher so you have to set up the entire team around him and give him chance after chance as he does have good movement. Any other system and he's complete wank.

Good point for us against a strong team. A clean sheet too, which is a bonus.

Our win against Cambridge a couple of weeks ago looks like a very good one now, they’re on fire!

Do you work with me

In all honesty its not Doyle its our system and its the way we/Evatt sets his team up.
The problem with Evatt he believes to much on his opinion and not others.

He is employed and he will live and die by his own judgements.
Some of his/Tobias Phoenix recruitment is shocking.
His best 4/5 players he has today he had the day he took over, he just did not realise it. The first league game of the season he started with 11 of his own signings.
Politic who i rate with Darcy as our stand out players was injured and is out for the season. Darcy is a unused sub week in week out. Delaney and Santos are our only decent Defenders.
We have 4 wing backs who cannot defend but can run up and down the wings all day but cannot put a cross in or tackle.....Kioso looked like he may be the exception.

He should go back to 442
Consider playing Gilks in goal
Find a place for Taft,Darcy Isgrove and Tutte

I think it will probably click, he had a slow start at Barrow and you do have some good players at this level but by that time, the automatics might be too far off.

He's still a lasher twat mind so I hope he fails.

Pot him and bring Grezza in.

I think you’ve mentioned it before, but just seen the highlights, and your goalkeeper is an absolute shocker isn’t he!!
Yep, he's easily the worst keeper in the division. Sadly our backup is a kid who might be even worse, we're stuck with him.

But you don't just sign players, you assemble a team. at the start of a couple of seasons ago, most of us thought we were looking at lge 1 play offs as we had some championship experienced players. We finished the season 24th.

The is a lot on wanderersways our main forum asking for his head......I am one of those who will give him until christmas.
Worse case scenario we will finish bottom half. As i have stated we have a deep squad

Gilks
Jones
Taft
Edwards
Tutte
Miller
Darcy
White
Politic
Isgrove
Riley
11 players there who did not start yesterday either not selected or injured that would improve that team

Solid 1-0 win but should have been more including this which david blunkett would have seen, having said that tranmere were very poor surely they can't be that bad every week
