Very much enjoyed it. Beautifully shot with a great accompanying soundtrack, the cracking noises in The Black Hair went right through me and I could sense what was coming, it's a genuinely eerie atmosphere throughout, and that sense of foreboding is inescapable, which not many films manage to do so well. My favourite story was The Woman of the Snow but I thoroughly enjoyed them all and it's definitely one of the best horror anthologies I've seen. One of my favourite aspects of the film was the narration, being told the story I thought was great and added to that sense of being sat round a fire listening to ghost stories, which is essentially what these kinds of films represent so well in the world of cinema I reckon, Great choice.

It was good, I enjoyed it. Not so much the last one but the first three were all enjoyable. I'm with Creg on The Woman in the Snow being my favourite, however even though I knew it was coming I was still pissed off at him for blabbing the story to his wife. I do think they're pushing it labelling it a horror anthology. Whoever they are, I'm not sure? It's definitely more a folklore anthology as far as I'm concerned. Visually attractive throughout and I really liked the bits of titles just before the ink in water.

8.1 popcorns, minus 1.1 popcorns because they didn't manage to shoehorn any kind of corporate marsupial into the mix = 7 popcorns total.
