Yeah, busy couple of days In fact, the only time I've been on here in fucking days was last night at about 1am and I couldn't be fucked to get into all this then. But yeah, I'll do an update now.

Right, time for the latest update. That's right, I'm actually doing it at the time of the deadline for once. I know, it's a shock.

And in another big shock... it seems that a fair few of our remaining tributes have decided to go for that one last feast at the cornucopia. We have a 4 man battle royale!

Hodge(7, 2hp) vs The Hand of Dom (13, 4hp) vs Veggie Legs (6, 2hp) vs Cardsfan (3, 3hp)

Going into this, Dom is obviously in a great position. He holds all of the food anyway in the arena... if he can secure this one last meal and deny the rest from being able to eat, this fight may well as good as win him this game. However, one bad roll for Dom along with just one of those other three beating him... and he may well find himself with some fierce competition.

Hodge(7, 2hp) vs The Hand of Dom (13, 4hp) vs Veggie Legs (6, 2hp) vs Cardsfan (3, 3hp)

The four tributes show up at the same time... and all out war begins. Cardsfan, once a strong contender, is the first to retreat from this battle after Veggie Legs catches him hard with the handle of his spear and follows it up with a nasty gash, damn near taking Cards nose off. Cards retreats with -1hp...

After taking out Cards though, Veggie turns around and gets caught off guard with a smack in the elbow by Hodges mace, crippling his right arm. Unable to lift his spear and defend himself, Veggie gets out of there before it costs him his life, taking 1hp of damage.

Hodge and THOD remain... Hodge charges at THOD, but THOD's reactions are superb due to his healthy supply of food, and he is able to notch, draw and loose an arrow into Hodges gut. Hodge manages not to panic, and backs the fuck out of there to treat his wound and take the arrow out... he's lucky it's not fatal. He takes 1hp of damage.

Of of the others have fled... THOD has claimed the feast! As if he really needed it. This may well be the deciding factor... THOD must surely be a comfortable favourite now. Though we've seen before how a little bit of bad luck can screw you over... can it really undo THOD's 4hp though? Most likely not. He's managed to deny food to all of his competition here as well as seeing half of the other tributes take 1hp of damage here. A great day for THOD.

Though actually, just looking at something else... THOD only has 2 arrows left. Once those are gone, he's actually unarmed, and down to just 5 fighting skill... not quite as untouchable as he is right now. So who knows!?

As for the fire... it starts to spread to the cornucopia in H6! However, due to the feast, it seems that some kind of force field makes the fire bypass H6... and i6 is burned down instead. However, the force field looks as if it will soon disintegrate, so H6 won't be safe for long. Also, the first also looks due to spread to j6 tomorrow as well, so that square is best avoided...

So 12 squares left, and 2 of those squares are due to burn tomorrow so are best avoided... effectively, 10 squares to share between 5 people. Things are gonna get a little cramped...

For our latest update... nothing happens. You've all managed to avoid one another in the little space you have left.

You all get a little hungrier and thirstier... most notably, Cardsfan is one day away from dying of starvation/thirst.

The first spreads to H6 and J6... and oh no, it looks like Hodge is still hiding out in H6! He'd actually been hiding out in that square for a couple of days prior to the big fight yesterday, so he had nowhere to be sent back to. He takes 1hp of damage from the fire... which finishes him off! He drops all of his items in the flames and they are consumed with him.

J8 is also set on fire... there is no indication given of which square will go up in flames next!

Once again, the tributes have all managed to avoid each other on this day...

Though that isn't to say that there wasn't a death...

Cardsfan, after not managing to eat or drink for too long, finally had his body give out on him. He curled up into a ball and never got up again. On his corpse, he had a nice bounty of items left behind:

2 Arrows (6, 1, Must be combined with a bow/crossbow)
Bow (0,60, Must be combined with Arrows)
1 Bullet (0, 1, must be combined with Pistol)
Large Flask (100/100)(10, can be used to hold 100 water, can be drank at any time)
Pistol (10, 60, LOUD. When used, everybody will see your location on the map. Must be combined with bullets)
Can opener (5, used to open cans!)

If anybody can find where Cardsfans body is, they'll be able to grab that gun with the one bullet... that could come in handy.

Natch, Veggie, THOD and Elmo, congrats, you've made it to the final four!

F7 is the latest square to go up in flames.

Latest moves are made... and we have no fights, and nobody found Cardsfans death square. Although somebody seems to have not read the non-burning to a crisp squares incorrectly as...

Natch travels into a square that is already burning! He gets some bad burns and takes 1hp of damage. He must move out of this square on the next day, or he will burn to death...

Can't help but feel that each day that passes without incident is another big step closer to victory for THOD. It's almost looking too difficult to throw away. But then again, it wasn't that long ago that Cardsfan looked like the favourite, and me croaked yesterday so who knows...
