The Hartlepool home shirt looked very nice, until someone decided that what fans really want from a replica kit is that authentic "bought it at a knock-off market stall in Benidorm" look.

Was there an explanation for this? I know they said the players shirts couldn't have 'Never Say Die' on it but why go whole hog and plaster on what looks like a dentists sticker for a badge?

Why can't they have that on player shirts?

Thats bad, gone the Nike way of having a "Stadium Shirt" like England but it doesn't even look the same with the badge like that!

The club said the EFL prohibited them from having ‘personal slogans on players kit or equipment’ must be a recent thing because we’ve had it on our shirts in the EFL in the past.

Strange, we had Askey's "WANT, NEED, EXPECT" on ours last season.... out lasted Askey mind!

Haha, they've done it with the away shirts too. Just awful, but refreshingly tinpot.

There are a few joke kit makers knocking about. Remember we had similar with BLK and PlayerLayer. The qualities of the replicas were similar to those commemorative T shirts you get when you complete a charity fun run.

We had BLK for one season and went straight back to Errea,

In fairness the designs were great, loved the shirts but they didnt deliver for ages on stock with the training gear so we had to use old stuff to train in... Pope even personally tweeted them asking when he could have his training shorts!

Tranmere Rovers have gone for an Aston Villa/Burnley look for the away kit.

We have a retro home kit followed by a retro away one. Similar to the kit we played in at Wembley in The Mercantile Classic against Newcastle in 1988

I've been sad to see Sutton United aren't taking the opportunity to show off their fantastic unique colours in away games, instead wearing one of two away choices that don't leave any particular impression on watchers tuning in to highlights.

Should be wearing that yellow and brown everywhere they can, what an achievement to be in the league, make an impression!!

Unfortunately, we're following that same path, bringing out a pointless third kit, meaning we'll probably not be wearing blue at all in away games, booooooo.

A few years back we brought out a third kit that proved to be popular among fans, selling well, but that we didn't wear in a single game. The backlash I think has permanently put us off third kits as we haven't had one since. Or at least, if we did need one we wouldn't sell it in the club shop most likely.

We had a black away kit in the Wales retro style in 2017/18 but threw out a yellow away kit for Notts County away on New Years Day… Aspin hated dark kits so we never saw the black after that!

We’ve had a purple kit we wore three times in two seasons and a blue kit with fans names in it that we wore twice.

Oddly we virtually never wear white away anymore, last season we had to at FGR because both other kits clashed and oddly Salford but nearly always wear away or third away these days.

Now listen, Raj has always stated "Value for money" must have thought with us lot being
So tight we wouldn't have paid for the real deal.
So with all the money he has saved on shirts, Get a fooking striker in and give the paying
Customers value for money.
