Tbh I think most of our fans hate Watford as much as you do atm !

There will probably be more abuse for our own players if they don’t perform than yours.

And a few will probably even want Edwards to win just to show the Pozzos up !

Due to some personal issues I’m having to miss the game. Absolutely gutted as I know it’s going to be quite the atmosphere.

The win against them at home a couple of years ago proved to be a bit of an unveiling of our high pressing game as it was the first time I really saw us do it, could be something epic with that atmosphere if we play like we did that day. Going to need calm heads to not get swept up in it!

That feels good. Easily could have reversed the score from earlier in season. We get another before halftime and they completely fall apart. They were total shite with no heart for the fight. No wonder theyre all pissy this season. Shocking.

As for us, we werent in full flow and again didnt quite fully click, but had more than enough. Boy can we fight and harry and hassle and are close to destroying someone. Our spine is phenominal. All were excpetional.

What a Marvellous victory. Not just the player, but everything about the day was first class.

To be honest, it felt like any other games in recent weeks - every game has been at 100%, so they weren't able to up it any more anyway for being a derby!

Really happy for Gabe Osho. To be honest, I was happy to release him at the end of the season. Getting sent off twice, making sloppy mistakes. But his performances since January have been nothing short of fantastic and would fully deserve a new deal in June. He got the goal, but his all round game was great.

As for Watford, their players looked disinterested. They have a bunch of overpaid expensive prima donnas. They probably deserved the bollocking they got at the end from their travelling supporters.

As an aside - I was sceptical that Josh Smith should've been appointed referee to this game - a very tough one for someone only in his second season as SG2. He was exceptional today and didn't put a foot wrong.

TFCH is MIA. Hope all is well and yesterday brightened your personal issues. Was looking forward, as ever, to your balanced well thought out musings. Youre missed at least in this quarter. All the best

Very easy win. Blackpool are clearly shite. Loved Pott's goal and celebration, he's had a good season at RWB.

Cannon is top drawer, no chance we get him back.

We were the better team at their place too, but we got hit with a few sucker punches. Get them down.

Cunningham and Evans now out for the season though. Both been in top form lately. Rumours that Ched may need to retire. Supposedly a vertebrae injury that needs surgery.

QPR and Reading over Easter. We've been OK lately at despatching these shit sides, but it's the Championship, so I expect us to fuck these games up.

Bambo should come back in for Lindsay. Unchanged apart from that. I'd rather see Delap play ahead of Parrott though.

Sounds like Evans has a career threatening injury .

Wish him well in his recovery.

Recommended to retire it seems, needs spine surgery. Proper shitter, arguably playing the best football of his career and looked to have a couple more seasons left at this level.

Hopefully if he's forced to quit, he's still able to go into coaching. I think he's been coaching already in some capacity, and Tom Cannon speaks really highly of him.

As usual we collapse once the other team score.

So predictable!

We didn’t even test their keeper 2nd half really till we scored .

No idea how we managed to find a striker better than Archer.

Millwall v Luton - one of the most boring matches I've ever seen in my life. Felt like the 1st leg of 3 play off semi finals. Very tight, very physical, very dogged from both teams. Very little between the sides in reality.

It was also the first time I felt in a while that our levels had dropped down a peg, although maybe playing within themselves a tad considering a match is coming on Monday and probably didn't want to offer the opposition any kind of bragging rights ahead of the aforementioned players.

Real positive is that we've only conceded 2 goals in open play in 14 games - both against Millwall... and they were both a goalkeeper howler and a clear offside. Also our 18th clean sheet.

Probably ends our realistic hopes of a top 2 spot too. 6 points from the last 6 needed.

We are almost flying. Home to a bottom three side who have earned the least points in the league, are in disarry, mangerless and have the look of relegation already....... What could go wrong ;-)

Need to keep the momentum going and get a little more ruthless at home, mostly to secure the playoffs....... but theres just that tiny weeny chance to sneak an auto spot..... Isnt there?

Perhaps if Blackpool hadnt just sacked their Manger or Burnley hadnt just got promoted......this league. Anything can upset the Apple Cart on a given day. Still very likely a bit too much ground to make up if it all goes our way Monday, but itd be nice to make Sheff Utd sweat and take the pressure free hit.

Looking like Alan Browne has joined Riis, Evans, McCann, and Cunningham as ruled out for the season.

Onomah was great at QPR but not sure if he can hack 90 minutes yet.

Reading at home tomorrow. Slim chance we could move into the top 6 with a win.

Thanks for your thoughts. My wife has been Ill and has had a major operation last week, so I think it likely I won’t be making many more games this season. I’ll be watching on ifollow today though!

As for the game, Blackpool at home always a fixture that seems to cause a few issues. Last couple of times we have played them it’s been at this time of year where we were going for the league 1 title and then last season when we were looking to secure a playoff place and both times they held us to draws which frustrated us.

They aren’t in the best state coming into the game with McCarthy leaving (always looked an odd appointment to me) which maybe might galvanise them, especially the creative players which he tends to try and hold back in favour of a more defensive approach.

Going to be a bit of a struggle this now. We’ve had the most of the play but as ever in games like that we’ve struggled to create against a well set and deep defence. Then been done on a set piece. Perfect away performance so far from the Blackpool point of view and a pretty frustrating one for us. As has been said many times on these boards this season, not our sort of game to make the running which is what this is so far.

Challenge for Edwards at half time to get us going as it’s been a little sloppy and flat so far.

Dominated the second half and became a case of if we could make the breakthrough or not as Blackpool offered nothing of note. As ever Morris comes up with a telling contribution, no way he was missing that one having missed an earlier decent chance of his own making.

Then Woodrow finds a bit of space and calmly picks out Pelly who writes another chapter of his legend with a great strike into the top corner to make it quite comfortable in the end after a fairly shaky first half.

Thought both Pelly and Nakamba were outstanding in controlling the midfield second half and really suffocated Blackpool who could barely get out because of both of their industry

Much better second half. Thats the sort of game and situation that can trip you up - as most other results around us show today. Lets see how Sheff Utd do later and see if theyre gonna wobble. Have a funny feeling its not all over yet
