My fault as once I came in from work we were rubbish and lucky not to lose .

Usual story of once we let one in all confidence and composure disappears .

Coventry will feel aggrieved they didn’t get a penalty.

How the fuck are we level on points with 5th place, we’ve been awful most of the season. We were good today though, massive 3 points and now Millwall away on Saturday is absolutely enormous.

Did think that when i looked at the table this afternoon, felt like you have come from very far under the radar to be in the race for that 6th spot. Didnt look very likely to me after we played you back in February in a game we somehow didnt win. Impressive run of form lately though

We're actually OK right now, and Tom Cannon is easily the best player in the league.

We really need Onomah to get to the stage where he can manage 90 minutes. The guy is pure power, and can play too. Could be a huge player for us.

Down to bare bones now, don't want Woodburn and Ledson to play too many minutes. Another injury or two could kill us.

Crazy how Millwall away has become such a big game.

Well done Boro -very clinical.

Not sure Norwich cannot complain about the 2nd unless it was a head injury tbh .

And they certainly shot themselves in the foot at times .

Can't see us getting anything at Millwall, don't trust this lot when the pressure is on.

Same team I'd guess, but i'd play Bambo over Lindsay.

Doughty doesn’t make it for us today which is a shame. Bradley in with Bell shifted to LWB, a shame as Bell has really played well at centre half

Adebayo also injured.

Think Sheffield United big so takes whatever pressure there was off. We won’t catch them so becomes about mathematically securing the playoff place if it isn’t already and making sure we’re fit and ready for it

A good win, but Morris off injured could be massive blow depending on how serious that is. Echos of last season with Adebayo going down before the playoffs. At least this time theres a month or so to get him recovered.

Really hoping its not too serious but i really wouldn't be for risking players in these next games.

It looked he pulled up before the tackle while running which isnt a good sign. Lot of players withdrawn. Lets hope precautionary. PlayOffs assured now barring absolute miracle turnarounds, autos likely gone with Sheff Utd win. So lets gear up.

Bradley was excellent today considering hes been out a while and first full game back. Need that backup. Locks can play anywhere it seems. Need Daughty back with Bell moved central. Nakamba and Morris vital. Eli too but thought Woodrow was useful and Taylor and Berry caused problems. We have backup through the team but Locks Nakamba and Morris are pivitol.

A surprisingly routine victory for Luton yesterday with two goals either side of half time. I thought Rotherham would've offered a little more, although perhaps they're starting to take their foot off the gas knowing that they're probably 1 more win from being safe.

Horvath made zero saves as he had zero shots on target in the entire game against him.

Luton meanwhile have plenty to play for still. Whilst our top 2 dreams are getting less and less likely, having that momentum going into the play offs is going to be crucial. (Sheffield United's fabled wobble is very much over now having won 4 out of their last 5 games themselves).

We are teetering a little bit - injuries have suddenly started to reappear again with a few niggles going around the camp. I think every team will be in this position anyway.

Typically, I'd want us to keep trying to play our best team even ahead of the POs, but in this division, it's going to be crucial to manage the likes of Lockyer, Bell, Morris, Mpanzu, Campbell, Adebayo, Clark who between them have played a lot of minutes. Especially as we totally run out of gas last spring.

A word for Horvath - his 19th clean sheet of the season. And people still think Isted should be playing... LOL.

I really don't want penalties in the POs - aren't we now 0 out of 3?

I think you sort of answered your own point about Horvath. It’s pretty remarkable how little he has to actually do in most games - you said yourself yesterday he had 0 saves to make! When he has had games where that hasn’t been the case he’s been found a little wanting. You see Isted pulling off some stunning saves and winning awards for it you can see why people might be scratching their heads about how we’ve managed that keeper situation.

It’s not very important in the grand scheme of things but is odd

Great overview Kenny. If i may say you are very well balanced these days compared to the 'old Kenny' who only had eyes thru Orange tinted specs. Ive always loved yr passion for The Hatters. Respect.

However I cant agree on your take on Horvarth tho. While he is far from a disaster, he lacks any sort of presence, confidence or outstanding skillset or facet to his game. Hes bang average across the board. He scares the life out of me when we face decent crosses and corners. Many of our conceded goals while not his fault per se, Im left thinking could someone else have done better? I pray hes not a disaster in waiting at the wrong time and that he continues his clean sheet form, but for me thats more on the back three and Nakamba. I do think hes in the side contractually rather than on talent/merit.

I have the willies about our penalties mindset for the PO too. Whos the five in order? Morris, Eli, Woodrow, Locks, Daughty? Maybe Clark, Pelly Nakamba?

Its all about in the moment mental strength, overcoming nerves and keeping your composure more than anything. Ask Harry Kane ;-)

We got what we deserved yesterday...........nowt.
I think we worried too much about Luton and selected a team to combat that rather than just playing our own game.
Ogbene and Fosu had their worst games for us and it showed our lack of threat when those two are off it.

Luton looked a very efficient team, all their players knew their jobs and carried them out with the minimum of fuss.
I wish them every success in the play offs hopefully without Morris.
I can't stand the bloke, he was rubbish when we had him on loan, wouldn't play when he wasn't 100 per cent and then went to Barnsley and smashed Victor Johanson with an elbow smashing his eye socket and even being awarded the goal which probably sent us down. (Darren Ward, no need to say anything else)
Bitter........ yes I know soz.

Its all good. We all have players others hate for one reason or another. Were all tribal when it comes to football.

Wont be any skin off his or our nose and seems likely hes ok. Hes loved here as he is a machine full of skill, selfless non stop effort and aggression. We never have the same problems you did.

Glad your staying up and hope you can kick on ahain next season and sustain

I suppose Hugill has the same effect on some of his previous clubs to back up your point.
You have more confidence than me regarding us stopping up, we are only 3 points better off the 3rd bottom though we have a decent enough goal difference.
Difficult run in with Burnley on Tuesday then Bristol City on Saturday. No points and we could be in the bottom 3.
Then Cardiff and Boro at home and last match at Wigan.
Just hoping everyone else near the bottom keeps losing TBH.

Sheffield United, I guess like ourselves, have been painfully efficient in recent weeks. Congrats on their inevitable promotion.

Time for us to rest and rotate some players around I think for the last few weeks.

How am I supposed to work today when we’ve got the biggest game in 20 years to play tonight? Win and I’d make us favourites for 5th.

I’m having trouble concentrating too but I’m a lot more pessimistic about our chances. We never do well down in Swansea and I feel if we don’t get 3 points tonight it’s over for us.

Yeah, it’s pretty make and break for us too. Lose and we’re most likely out of it, win and we’re in the driving seat with Reading and Birmingham at home up next. Mental battle this year.

Our record at Swansea seems especially shite. 10pts from our remaining 4 is a must really.
