Thought it was worth starting a thread as it's the time of year when new season tickets are announced by clubs.

For Crewe Alex, we've unsurprisingly seen another rise of £15 for our main stand from £365 in 2023-24 to £380, but a drop for our singing end to £345 for adults only. A 4.1% rise, which is around where inflation sits unfortunately. Be interesting to see where we rank in the price list when everyone has announced their prices.

Anyone else announced theirs?

We never release ours untill the season is finished, it’s interesting how early some clubs go, gotta get that income in early I suppose.

The club pays fans £15 a game for attendance. Season Tickets (if willing to sign up) are paid at £575 transferred to a bank account of your choosing in regular instalments (either monthly or quarterly) over 12 months.

*These figures are made up for hilarious banter, we have not actually announced yet for 24/25 but for this season it ranged from £387 in most areas to £451 for half way line and £580 by the dug outs. Still fucking expensive, no wonder we have no fans (just the 4,000-5,000 STH’s).

Ours aren't announced until the season end either. Expecting ours to rise a bit due to a new stadium to fund. Roll on 2027 when my pensioner's concession kicks in (unless it rises to state pension age which adds another two years).

After quite a big rise last year, prices frozen to mark our 140th anniversary. This coupled with the decent football under Adkins has seen an increase on sales from the equivalent time last season.

I never really get why clubs so announce so early, especially if there’s uncertainty on what league they’ll be in next season when doing so.

Whereas it’s still cheap that increase will be hard to swallow for bradford fans given their last week hasn’t exactly gone to plan.

Far too early for us as the club don't know which division we will be in next season. I think that our season ticket numbers fell this season, compared to last, as we are playing in a lower division and there was less incentive to guarantee a seat for games against the larger teams. I doubt if prices will go up if we are relegated, they may do if we stay up as they have been static for several seasons, I guess it depends how much the club value their season ticket holders and whether they want to do their best to retain as many as possible. I've spoken with a few people who are considering whether to renew, but that has nothing to do with the level or quality of football on offer, more to do with the behaviour of the club owner.

Renewed mine this morning

£367 which is up from £340 last season. South stand so behind the goal. They are cheaper in the North stand.

The fact we are selling them in the North means our away allocation will be around 950 next season FYI all.

We will shift 5,000+

Given that most of your games have pretty much sold out this season, are there any plans to extend the ground to add extra capacity...having looked at pictures of the stadium I'm guessing it would be a bit of a challenge.

If we do go up will be interesting what we do for prices and numbers, we had to put a hold on them but ended up with around 5,300 this season and if we do up will be badly in need of extra capacity.

£374 if renewed by May 13th, and goes up 20 quid if before June after the May deadline. Not bad considering they don't know what division we're going to be in. Also, nice to see ST on sale after the season has finished, rather asking us to pay for a new ST whilst the last season hadn't even finished yet.

Prices are frozen so between £387 and £451 for the cheaper tickets and £580 for the pricey dugout malarkey.

We used to get 6,000+ STH’s. These days we get about 4,000-5,000.

How many you sold so far?
They haven’t given a figure yet, they did last year, but no doubt terrible as the owner has put out a long statement saying the usual apology and everything will change to try improve them. Interestingly he admitted our budget isn’t competitive enough, most sensible fans knew we couldn’t compete with the top clubs in this league on a budget that has no investment, but some still defended it. Someone put we’d sold around 3000 on our forum.

I read his letter and thought it was largely devoid of anything tangible. My first thought was that it was done to try and quash the planned protest for the game tomorrow.

Considering he’s put in half a million of his own money already for this season budget I wonder how much he will next season?

The issue is who’s employed by him to run the club.

Yep. Sparks is massively out of his depth. Says it all when he has to fly out to Germany to speak with the owner, even though said owner was here for the game against you guys. Again, this has only happened due to the protest.

Ours are the same as this season irrespective of which division we are in.

I do wonder if our large ground actually reduces the number of season tickets purchased as there is no chance of not ever being able to get a seat. If you are probably unavailable for a few matches, why bother with a ST when you know you can get a seat. It's what I do as I probably go to 15 - 18 matches a season so not saving many pennies.

Thought we'd have given out an update like we normally do. Sales must be pretty disappointing so far.

Highly unlikely that the club are even thinking about the possibility of extending the ground (e.g. filling the corners in) at this moment in time.

The discussion always comes up amongst our fans especially on the forum about it every time we’re doing well & getting regular attendances of 7,500 / 8,000 + which we have done throughout this season, but realistically wouldn’t be worth considering unless we were selling the stadium out (9,500 +) on a regular week by week basis over a sustained period of time.

On a separate note, update from one of our directors today is that our ST sales are currently at 3,000. Well on course towards the 5,000 + mark CFC91 mentioned above considering the current seasons not even done yet.

We’ve held back until we know where we are presumably.

Ended up with 5,200 this season, it’ll be interesting to see if the club keep with their rather “unique” pricing structure of STs being the same price wherever you are in the ground (though there was some discount of some sort in the QLE (stand behind the goal)

Clearly really got to do something with the ground as it’s full to bursting most games, especially with decent away followings, though the next facility behind the west stand will allow the club to accommodate more fans on match day and maximise profit.
