Rumours that the board were considering increasing our prices after relegation.

That is until the fallout from the forum a couple of weeks ago. It'll be crazy if they increase prices.

What I will say, our matchday prices are a joke and they will not be reduced at all. So get ready for £26 in advance and £28 on the day. I really can't be bothered with saying the same thing every home game so:

Yes our prices are extortionate, yes they are a joke, Cheltenham fans agree with you, no-one is making you come.
You arent alone sure us Swindon and Crewe charge similar mate.

I've yet to renew mine, up £40 but that does include trust membership so actually only £10 more. Awaiting a response as to whether I can pay in advance for three months to reduce my DD payments. Down to 9 months from 10.
If they won’t let you why not get an MK Dons one instead?

Our season ticket prices have been frozen, albeit with an extra 5% discount for anybody renewing one - so roughly an extra free game.

Renewal price behind the goal is £323 and then £340 until the end of June. On the side we're still persisting with charging a different price for every block, increasing the closer to the halfway line you get, so it ranges from £351-441 for renewals and £370-£465 until the end of June.

Prices are frozen so between £387 and £451 for the cheaper tickets and £580 for the pricey dugout malarkey.

We used to get 6,000+ STH’s. These days we get about 4,000-5,000.
About 50% turned up in the Tuesday night against us then.

Renewed mine this morning

£367 which is up from £340 last season. South stand so behind the goal. They are cheaper in the North stand.

The fact we are selling them in the North means our away allocation will be around 950 next season FYI all.

We will shift 5,000+
We’ve sold 5,500+ each season since promotion and you have a bigger ground so that’s a bit strange. We don’t sell STs in the Osmond so we can allocate either 1,200 or 550 to away depending on opposition. Why not do as we do - are you expecting to sell out the home stands for every game?

No but we have averaged 8k in the NL with barely an away fans, had a couple of 9500+ home fans alone when we reduced the away allocation to 250 towards the end so if we are doing well the support is there.

Guess the club are trying to accommodate as many home fans as possible whilst their is a feel good factor around.

It’s a bit of a bandwagon like most clubs have when they are doing well, but the new owners are the first lot that have the genuine support of the town I think, so many youngsters going to games now, totally different demographic to 10 years ago

Both Chesterfield & Mansfields increase in attendances since Covid must be 2 of the highest % wise ,both have effectively doubled their crowds . Pretty impressive .

Season ticket prices have gone up a bit at Wimbledon depending on where you sit. Mine is £450. We sold about 4500 last season so probably about the same next season.

Without doubt % wise, very impressive they've both come on leaps and bounds.
We were averaging 6500-7000 pre the dark Allen years to be fair, but it is impressive our best gates in years came at our lowest ebb.

I barely went to a game for 2/3 seasons under Dave Allen, but we’ve come back much stronger from those seasons of fairly widespread boycotts and an absolute disgrace in the boardroom and on the pitch

As expected but now confirmed our prices have been frozen. Believe the same is true for matchday pricing so that’s £25 for an adult with various concessions. Away fans for those who haven’t been in a couple of years are now down the opposite end of the stadium.

I'd be very disappointed if Notts sold fewer season tickets than Town, but it could be pretty close due to serious doubts in Part Time Stu.

Huge uncertainty over kick off times may have a knock on effect for all clubs. Maybe why many are trying to get fans committed early doors before the reality of the Sky deal kicks in?

IF we are to see Friday nights, Saturday evening and Sunday lunch time switches it will make it difficult for some

Last season when fixtures were released we had 5 non Saturday games at home and the final day, plus say one international weekend at home. That's already 7 home games on sky, before you add in any that may be moved for the weekend coverage (5 lge 1 and 2 games every weekend). You have potentially 10-12 home games a season live on sky for UK audiences, could have an effect on sales.

Yeah I would have thought you would do more than us , I expect last season it was pretty close in terms of ST sales . It will be interesting to see how Maynard does given the summer - you would have thought he needs a relatively decent start to not be under pressure but you can probably say that about every manager tbf .

Organised as always at mansfield.

STs issued 10 years after everyone else.

£399 early bird in the west stand, £325 in the QLE (free in the bishop st  ) £50 extra after.

ended up with 5,400 last season and capped at 6,000 this time round which will almost certainly be reached.

Whereas the highest is about 8,700 there were games that had enquiries (from home and away support) that could’ve had 13,000 there had we not got a tinpot ground (bradford, wrexham and notts county were the 3)

Chesterfields crowds this season while being at home to the clubs the like of the golden lion and hare & hounds has been incredible.

I always remember going to yours on Easter Monday when you were having an excellent season in League One and I was surprised how many you were getting back then compared to Saltergate. Lots of young fans, played excellent football and should've beaten us 10-0 but it was only 1-0 in the end. I even said on the train home that day I felt that Chesterfield should've been a model club for us to follow because you were making astute signings and playing a brilliant style of football under Paul Cook back then.

Football's a funny old game mind because I never would've thought 3 years later you were going to end up in non league. Very glad to see Chesterfield back though. Proper lower league awayday.

That's the benefit of a much needed Non-League reset.

Plenty of clubs have benefited from a time at their lowest ebb#stained

This is very true. I think the non league bounce, the new stadium bounce and the millionaire takeover bounce is a big factor in lower league gates skyrocketing in the 21st century. And most clubs have had one of the three. The big question is the drop off when things turn to pot though. There'll be a time when all the new fans finally experience a bad or mediocre season and vote with their feet. Some clubs can get away with one bad season if they follow it up with an immediate improvement, but two bad seasons in a row is often terminal for growth!

We seem to be doing fine despite being one of the few lower league clubs to have never had any of these bounces though! Closest we probably had was our spike when we made the Championship in the 90s but that's long gone now.

There sure has been an attendance renaissance and boom in the East Midlands in recent seasons. Incredible numbers whatever the level.

Chesterfield with incredible attendances in the Dug and Duck league, Mansfield with over 5000 ST holders, Notts averaging over 10,000 for home games, sell outs at Leicester, huge attendances in L1 at Derby and a reported 10,000+ fans paying £10 to be on a waiting list for ST at F*rest, whilst the owners increase actual ST prices by almost criminal levels.

Just imagine if the fiercest rivalry in lower league football is reinstated any time soon you could be talking of 20,000+ enquiries for Field Mill.

One big factor is do the fanbase, diehards, old hands, new, floating etc believe in the owners? That's where we are in a very strong position, not had this since early/mid 90s.

There is bound to be a drop back, there frankly has to be but the question really is how far does it drop. I can't see it getting anywhere close to the nadir pre their takeover.

15 days in and we’ve sold over 1500, last year it took 30 days to sell 1500 and we ended up on just over 5000 I believe so I’m pretty staggered by that number so far given what an abysmal season we’ve just had.
