I k ow transpennine are even more unreliable than northern were at the moment t it could you not get the 5:30 to Manchester then Manchester to London or is that not running??

There is also the Carlisle to Leeds line?!

Or get on the supporters coach it’s only 6 hours
The Carlisle-Leeds line is affected by the same incident as the Carlisle-Newcastle line

No trains back to London on the West coast mainline tomorrow due to the Avanti strike. Believe me I looked into this route myself too!

Steve Evans is being oddly flattering. Has said it’s wrong what Scunthorpe did, we’re a great club, our manager is great, our chairman is great, our fans are great and will make loads of noise tomorrow. I don’t like it and I don’t trust it.

He pretty much said the same things about us. Compared us to Leeds with the atmosphere and history and said we're a massive club etc. He got so choked up that he had his mascara running down his chins.

Says the same about us, never ever getting considered for our manager post though

Evans says the same thing about every club he plays.
Always the same old shite.
He then spends the entire game winding up the officials and oppo fans.
The man is a complete flange flannel.

He’s always very complementary pre-match, but when he loses, he’ll sarcastically suggest they’ve been playing against a better team with far better resources.

Fucking melon.

Yeah it's the same as one of the earlier strikes that Avanti were part of by the sounds of it. There was one train up in the morning (think it might have been when we had Rochdale) but none back.

Almost believably sincere until he said Northampton fans make a lot of noise.

Shut it you slag, we make plenty of noise at selected grounds across the country. Orient for one.

A couple of options there. They look straightforward with zero opportunity of being stranded. Or if staying over is an option and money is no object then stay overnight in Manchester.

There's also a few longwinded options with a few changes for tomorrow morning of London upto Manchester and then onto Carlisle.

Bold of you to assume that anyone in Bradford has such a thing as coat they're done with.
Aye on reflection you are right, I've gone and done it now - they'll be queueing up after the game to get a coat for the walk back along Cleethorpes front to station...

Nightmare isn't it.

We're going up to Newcastle tomorrow due to the Avanti mess, but now looks like we won't be able to train to Carlisle on matchday...

Hoping we can get the train as far as we can and catch a bus or something but god knows.

Will stay overnight in Hexham after the game as well so it's a long old weekend.

Can't wait for that tepid, 1-0 defeat now...
Hexham's posh, hope you have a barbour jacket to wear or you'll get funny looks

Crawley will be a tough game and i’m fully expecting a challenging game also.

We struggle against sides down there and i imagine tomorrow will be another one of those days.

a draw maybe?

Us? Score three goals?

I don’t think so.
Strangely enough we are actually unbeaten in our last six in all competitions with just one defeat in our last nine.
We have also scored in our last four games.
Don’t get me wrong, we are still pretty poo but I do think we are getting to know one another now.

That’s fucked it now!!

Dreading it. I'm not going to Rochdale and am not sitting at the PC waiting for Twitter updates and illegal videos of our goals - as if?

I'm off to mosey round the Museum of London before it closes in December.

I can no longer deal with people who think we will win, and not by 3 goals
