Im sure both us, Barnet, Grimsby and Macc will all lose at least one game. Pretty sure we'll lose one in the next month, we'll have to see. I think if we're top by the time this months done we'll have a very, very big chance.

Seeing as that game in hand is Halifax away, I think the 'winning game in hand' option can be rubbed out!

Rovers travel to Halifax soon.

Just saying.

I agree with the last Rovers fans comment - if they are top at the end of March, it's over. If we are top, it's going to go down to the wire.

Big month ahead.

If Woking and Chester can win there in recent weeks then we should not dismiss it as impossible. There is no way our game with them on the 17th will go ahead so we will play them when they are playing catch up and hopefully tired.

A Halifax fan on here said they were hopeless against the top sides. And they are part time - we've smashed pretty much every part time side we've faced, even when we've not played well.

Score first and you'll be fine, our bunch haven't a clue if they go behind.
I was right then, god we've gone to pot!
So glad I was busy and didn't go!!!
Typical Lincoln players talk it up how they're going bounce back and climb up the table and yet again they lose!
Wankers the lot of 'em!

"In recent weeks" being the middle of November. The pitch there will beat you before Halifax do.

Very disappointed with today. We were all over Rovers for the first half with no end product whilst Mills persists in playing this weeks latest loanee from Sunderland or Newcastle and Jon Shaw sits on the bench not getting any game time. Rovers set up to defend and were well protected by a midfield that were well organised. A mistake by Tom Allan allowed their number 17 to nip in and lob Bartlett, was a good goal well taken to be honest. After that all they had to do was close ranks, clear our hopeless long balls, let their number 27 persistently foul or throw our players to the ground whilst our powder puff forwards meandered about pretending to be a strike force.

Excellent noisy support from Rovers and the lads on the metro back were gracious in their win and and a credit to their club. I hope they go up this year. We certainly won't get anywhere near the play-offs unless Mill's stops fannying about and displays some tactical nous for a change.

Rovers' incredible run deserves to win them the league.

Just hoping they eventually lose or falter by drawing too many. Would be quite ridiculous if they went unbeaten to the end of the season and didn't go up as champions.

Still a bit sceptical about Bristol Rovers, we haven't really seen anyone piss it at the first time of asking before.

Back home 17 hours after leaving this morning... and boy was it worth it!

Not a vintage performance by any stretch, but we defended solidly and with relative ease throughout the game. Fair to say Gateshead had more of the ball and passed it well, though.

Harrison took our only real chance with aplomb and sent a superb 660+ following of Gasheads absolutely mad. Never did I think we would take that many up there, so well done to each and every one who made the effort to go! Good to hear some positive comments from Heed fans about our support too.

Just seen that BBC showing Bristol scored from their only shot on target and Grimsby scored from their only shot as well. Is this genuine?

I know that the BBC stats don't show corners in their stats for Conference game but in this mornings NLP is says that there was only 1 corner (for us) in total in the game yesterday. Thinking back, I can't think of many but to have only 1 corner in total is quite a rare occurrence I reckon.

It also states only 1 shot on target for both teams, Highlights what a poor game it was really BUT the main stat is we got 3 points and I'll take 10 more games like that till the end of the season.

We both had more shots on target than Barnet did against 11 men.

I actually feel great going home after games like yesterday, felt like a bonus 3 points, much better than early season playing much better but not getting the results.

BBC stats are incorrect every week, surely everyone knows this? The corner stats are the worst, I've been to matches where there's been 10 or so and BBC say there wasn't one in the match.

I'm not at all surprised with the one shot on target if true (although I'm sure Lee Brown had an effort saved from a free kick.)

Gateshead keep the ball better than a lot of teams. Away from home also, DC was always going to set us up to stop them first then grow into the game. From the sounds of it, it was all them in the first thirty but Mildy wasn't tested in goal, this defence just doesn't seem to break at the moment.

Where to start....

Absolutely dire team selection from Moyses, it's the first time I'm going to lay into him. I know I'm probably going to get slated because he's a "Lincoln lad", but I think Conner Robinson has had enough chances now - he isn't of sufficient quality to start at this level, no impact on the game yet again. Will end up back at Boston soon. Burrow is starting to become the player we feared he'd be pre-season, and Cranston, well....it was genuinely one of the worst individual performances I've seen maybe since Kanyuka vs. Rotherham in our relegation season.

Think we've got major issues for the rest of the season - the away form is starting to trickle into the performances at Sincil Bank, we had a large element of fortune at times during that winning run, and it's coming home to roost now. I'm not certain Moyses will stay past the Summer.

The officials - I'm not going to repeat myself. I was a little scared for the referee's safety at the end of the first half.

As for Woking, they'll not have an easier win all season, but looked an impressive side going forward, Obubade and Rendell caused problems all afternoon, and Payne's free-kick was a thing of beauty, but a little shaky at times defensively in the first half. I foresee a finish of between 6th and 8th for them, they're a good side but I can also see why stronger sides have defeated them regularly.

I can assure you that you will be playing us on 17th. Probably not at The Shay, but you can safely book that date in your diary.

I don't think a flukey goal in off a knee in the last minute counts as a smashing does it, unless you mean it was a smash and grab.

Rovers' incredible run deserves to win them the league.
No it doesn't, you'll deserve it if you have more points than the rest when everyone has played all of their games.

Lincoln? Darlington? This league has a history that goes back before the time Wrexham fell into it.

Yeah, because this league is the exact same as it was over 25 years ago when those promotions actually happened....

Lincoln thugged their way to the title. Darlo, admittedly, were an impressive side that season.
Guess who finished 2nd both times?

Where do you reckon the match might be played B2TF?

This season Aldershot had 12 corners in the first half at SB. HT and FT stats were no corners in the game at all!

You'll get no argument from me on the set-up.

The startling difference is we've taken most with any physical strength out to accommodate footballers as though it's one or the other. Burrow for DSY, Robinson for Tomlinson, Nolan for Mendy, Caprice for Miller (although ill yesterday). Simpson got the physical strength of the team correct IMO. Not sure why we think it's one or the other, though. When Schoey was last here we ended up with a lightweight team as well (not just blaming him).

Newton's obviously a miss. In games where we struggle to create or weren't performing well, like yesterday, a Newton set piece would give us a chance.

Couldn't say at present, depends who's not playing at home on the night, but could be any one of half a dozen venues, e.g. Rochdale, Oldham, Hyde, Droylsen, Bury, may be even Guisley. I expect they'll ask the council to guarantee the pitch will be playable, a few days in advance and if the council can't give the guarantee they will look to switch the venue. They won't allow fixtures to build up like they did 2 years ago when we ended up cramming a quarter of the season into 4 weeks in April, they know we wouldn't come through a run like that and finish in the play offs in this league.
