Decent point for us last night, although perhaps a bit of a missed opportunity.

Hopefully Bridcutt isn't out for too long.

Oxford are still in a run of seemingly never ending run of playing bottom half sides (I know they played Donny last weekend) with Wigan next!
Yep. The yellow darlings are giving even our useless lot a chance of staying up. Slim as it is.

Our run won’t continue. We have Charlton, Peterborough, Hull, MK Dons and Doncaster all coming up over the next few games.

That being said, I’d fancy us to take points from a few of those games so we should still be play off contenders. In the interim, you can only beat what’s in front of you...

The fixture at our place ten days before was one of fhe best games I have seen. Last night’s was awful, primarily due to the pitch and weather. At least one of our players came off the pitch with both his knees bloody which gives an indication of the conditions. For the only the second time this year we started with a plan B. In his case it was hoofball. We are not very good at it, but fortunately Accrington are worse. Ennis scored the only goal of the game nipping in to take a header back away from the arms of the keeper. He had earlier missed one that was not far off Porter’s infamous miss last year against us. He was literally two yards in front of an open goal and hit the top of the stand. Fortunately I did not see it live because the ifollow director felt we should be watching a reply of a throw in or something equally dire. This excessive use of replays in the past two away games is ticking me off - we keep missing actual action.

In terms of chances Accrington probably deserved a point, if not more. Coleman certainly thought so, and those who left ifollow on for five minutes were entertained with his views of referees, Lady Luck and had their swearing vocab significantly enhanced. Oh, how I chortled.

Coleman is up there in managers moaning after a defeat, guy can't handle it, loves a snide remark.

We seem to be clawing our way out of trouble but have Hull next and we've played more games than most around us. We should really be safe enough though.

You'd have to have a disaster 2nd half of the season to be relegated now.

We started this run in the bottom half.
