Even we overtook you today you should hang your heads in shame  I know of a certain wum who will be pissed off with that ;)

I'm not pissed off because I know we're better than you and once we can actually start playing some games without interruption we'll leave you far behind. :cool1:

No, this award went to Halifax last year.
Our rearranged game against them last year:

That pitch is completely awful, they should of just played on a pitch in a local park!

I was particularly annoyed because you had a game in hand, you don't any more but you've played the same amount of matches as us and are above us... just glad that all the top 10 apart from Portsmouth still have to come to Brunton Park (or alternative venue).

I said a lot of things that looking back at them now do seem a bit over the top but that can happen to some people's opinions when they come down from the league above and struggle. Yes I was a total wum but I just hated seeing our team losing all the time and to clubs that were smaller and never get anywhere.

Not being funny but smaller clubs? You have no right to beat anyone in League 2 and it's not as if you get crowds as big as Plymouth and Portsmouth who are big clubs compared to the rest of us and should on paper piss this League but it never works out like that as they are the teams everyone wants to beat.

No, I'm talking about clubs like Accrington and Morecambe, only a few years ago we were battling for promotion to the Championship amongst big clubs like Leeds, Southampton and Nottingham Forest etc having great away days and achieving fantastic wins against them! Then shit happens as it does and a couple year later we're fighting for our football league survival and getting turned over by Accrington Stanley and worst of all, Wycombe Wanderers!

So I believe I had a right to be pissed off at the circumstances last season and thanks to you always taking the mick out of us, I developed a very crap opinion of Wycombe and now feel the need to belittle them at any given opportunity.

This season however we're doing really well, especially compared to last season and I'm much more happier this time round, so I shouldn't be as disrespectful to the shitty tinpot clubs. :2thumb:

Because Carlisle are massive with crowds of just over 4,000 with no competition in Cumbria or do football fans prefer to watch Scottish football

And a few years before that you were constantly battling against relegation to the Conference. It's all cyclical.

We don't get as many fans at home games as we used to because of our club owners who had sapped the life out of the club, our manager Curle however is trying his best to bring them back as he is the only real authority figure at the club who has ambition for us and he is a likeable character.

When we were buzzing and won this league 10 years ago we were getting average crowds of over 6000 and a couple of times that season we'd even get crowds of 11,000 - 13,000.

So yes we are a big club in this league when we're on the up and I'm sure that Wycombe have just had piss poor attendances when ever you've been top of this league and as for us having a bigger catchment area then so what! It makes us a bigger club, which proves my point.

Yes and when we finally did go down for that one season we had Barnet as our big promotion rivals, it was a nice little thing at the time. Of course we would go on to better things as natural order was restored.
