Is Cech any good still, though? If Chelsea are willing to let him go to us then I imagine not. Would rather keep Szczesny. Still think he's got a future at Arsenal.
It's Cech that wants to leave though, not Chelsea wanting to sell. He's said it's fine being number 2 for 1 season, but that's all he can do. I imagine given his service that they won't make it too difficult for him to join whoever he wants.

I'm not sure Chelsea owe enough to Cech to let him join whoever he wants. There'll be more than Arsenal in for him, and if Chelsea think he'll strengthen us they are under no obligation to let him come here. Mourinho pulled the plug on us getting Demba Ba on loan last summer after we signed Ozil. Frankly I'd be wary if they made it easy for us to get him.

Perhaps, and I do get the feeling that Cech is the sort of bloke that would probably want to go and test himself in another country, rather than possibly tarnish his rep with current fans. Roma need a De Sanctis replacement.

Doesn't Goldilocks get killed and eaten by a family of bears?

Which is pretty much analogous to being knocked out of the last 16 of the Champions League.

Daddy Berba with the second goal of three.

Ah well. My clock at the time said otherwise. The Puma logo looks like Dominos which is why I said it. :)

I don't like Arsenal not being in crisis. It's unnerving.

Cech's still good. Really good, even. Think we'd be bonkers to sell to a PL rival though, frankly.

I think it's a nice touch though from Chelsea, showing respect to the player to allow him to choose whoever he wants.

Current status:

DEFINITELY NOT IN CRISIS

Good season imo. Absolutely no excuse for not having a *proper* go at the title next season.

Let's see if Wenger spends £30m+ on another one or two players. I had Arsenal down to comfortably finish 3rd this season, with the right buys they will be closer again next season

I'm more comfortable than ever with Coquelin as the DM. Buy an upgrade on Flamini to challenge him and focus the funds on a top class GK and ST. Loaning Chambers and signing another CB would be nice.

Yeah I think they'll have their once in a decade shot at the title next year, its between them and Chelsea for me as City and Manoo have to rebuild/reshape.

They need a prick up front, a Suarez/Costa type and they will be more than able to challenge.

Question to Arsenal fans; obviously you're more satisfied than you were a couple of years ago, but do you see yourself challenging/winning the league next term? Are a few FA Cup wins enough?
