Sky are weird. 'Memphis' has apparently asked to be referred to as Memphis as his dad's a waste of oxygen, and he doesn't want to be associated. His shirt says Memphis. even BT Sport know this to be the case. BT sport don't ever know anything.

Not the most convincing of halves from United. Januzaj has looked lively, and got his goal, but Rooney has been shite and Depay - though he has been making some nice runs - looks nervous and is overthinking everything. Luckily for us Villa have created nothing so far and on the odd occasion that they've been around the area we've shut them down well.

Yawn. Terrible match. United have had 1 chance, Villa have had none. Villa look awful, United are seemingly happy with the 1-0. Hope things improve in the 2nd half.

Nice to see predictions about Bastian Schweinsteiger's role are coming to fruition. One of my favourites, but he's limited these days and Schneiderlin is a better player for this league. Good finish from Januzaj earlier in an otherwise dull half.

Dull game. One deflected shot on target the difference. Villa should've had a penalty but otherwise have done bugger all. Doesn't help when all three forwards are essentially the same player with the same weaknesses. Expect Gestede and/or Kozak soon.

I don't think Villa have improved much. United aren't great themselves right now either. It's a case of bedding in quite a few new first team players, it being early on in the season - and partly also because of Van Gaal's restrictive tactics.

Nothing to really shout about apart from Januzaj getting the goal, but we've looked pretty solid defensively and finally look dangerous on the counter. Was fairly shocked to see Memphis out wide and Januzaj in the startin lineup, finally seeing us take players on
